Major Announcement
I finally got ahold of the lady in charge of Catering at the hotel, and found out that they had to change the room we were in due they overlooked someone else that had reserved it.
The room they changed us to was "assumingly acceptable" and holds "25-40 people easily"
WTF...
I go to lunch in 2 hours, and I'll be calling a few hotels in MEMPHIS about rooms (all Hilton brands).
I'll update the thread and 1st post when this information becomes avaliable.
As of this moment we are still on for the Holiday Inn but this could be changing

I don't think any of my friends from Little Rock want to go anymore. They're SOOO fickle... Who knows; they might want to go when it gets closer. Yaun, TTT, Sims(Yauns friend), and I will be carpooling there. We've been practicing A LOT, and we've all improved.

@Zane: Man that sucks about the room. I heard from brad that the woman gave you that room because she thought it would be big enough. Huge mistake on her part. Hope you can find a bigger place. If not, I bet that woman will be sh***ing herself on that mistake. Anyway, cant wait for the tournament.

I called about 4 hotels today... catering/group reservation people apparently work m-f 8 - 5... i left 2 voice mails and have to call 2 back...

note: it is flat *screen* not flat *panel* so it is still a large television. somewhat heavy. but since it is flat screened: it is pretty.

I may be able to bring a projector from work. No promises though, I am going to inform them what I am using it for and get full fledged permission to do it (I could just rent it out a weekend and not tell them, but I want their feedback on it cause this isn't a normal projector usage :-P).

I expect there to be some not confirmed, but probably not terribly many more (hopefully i'm wrong and there's 100 showing not from board)

Yeah, he's ****ing amazing. Mainly because he switches characters every match, so he's the least predictable person I've ever played. I beat him once the whole time he was up here, and that was his Pichu vs my Samus. I can't wait to see how he places in this.AManatee said:
