So i got wrecked yet again at a tourney.
Didn't even got in bracket.

Looks like my dream to make my Jigglypuff popular among montrealers won't come true after all.

Replace Misuzu with Jigglypuff.
And that's... pretty much how i feel atm.

My bad,

The MM happened tuesday before today's tourney.
And there were no recordings of today's matches because people got lazy and didn't turn on infinite replays.
So the only recordings (with infinite replays) were from that said MM.

I always confuse people somehow.

Dude, i thought this site was about to die and stuff.
It's feels amazing to see you guys again.
Nonsense. Smash will never die. Don't you know that by now? And yep, it's nice to be on the site again. Especially with college killing me again. Went to sleep this morning at 3AM when I finally finished my Calc 3 HW.

Speaking of Final smash glitch.
I don't know if you ever tried it, but there's a glitch where you can make Jigglypuff really big in bridge of eldin.

Just kidding.

You pick Yoshi and you try to make her the biggest WHILE she has a Bunny hood on her head. Her power gradually stacks depending on how many times you use B with Yoshi. After you make her the biggest, break another Smashball and use her final smash again with the bunny hood (completely, no glitch here).

Now Jigglypuff's max damage with a single jab can do easily 300%.
And she's incredibly fast.
And jumps super high (but has a leap animation lag).

It's like everything that we dreamed of.

PS: You know you did the glitch right if Yoshi gets slightly pushed away even though he's really far away from Jigglypuff.

Well i've been fighting scrubby Zeldas for a while and i kinda learned not to carelessly approach a c-stick-happy player.
Her smashes has the most ridiculous startups i've ever seen.

I hate playing Zelda as Puff also. IMO it's one of those match-ups that seems horrible for Puff until you get used to it. In my experience what works on most Zelda's is doing an M2K. Cancel her din's fire with pound the entire match and force her to approach. If Zelda commits she's easily punishable even by Puff, and once you get her off stage... Yah... Poor Zelda. Of course there's a bunch of other little things that go into it, but this approach generally works for me excluding BF and Yoshi's.

It's important to understand the neutral game as well; what she is aiming to hit you with, what you are aiming to hit her with, and the best positions you can be in to bait her into doing stuff and then punish.
I can elaborate if necessary, gotta go to school now though lol

I've literally never beaten any zelda ever
including scrubs
including with my MK on wifi(I haven't played a zelda with MK offline, it's just random people in low tier tourneys.) I just get bodied. I like the idea of pounding dins fire and waiting. How do I punish her approach? well, I'll just assume like OoS Bair. Fsmash is annoying but doesn't have a TON of range so shield push shouldn't be too bad to bair I guess.

I wouldn't "wait for her to approach" per se

Stay close to her but at a safe enough distance that you aren't going to have to quickly react and shield or avoid any of her moves - your comfortable distance is, in fact, uncomfortable for Zelda because she is atrociously awful. Don't be afraid to use several jumps, walk around a bit, just keep that cute distance.
If you're far away she'll just harass with Din's and - if you were playing against a top level Zelda - they would probably eventually take advantage of the fact that you have to move all over the place avoiding her while she can hold onto basic fundamentals and eventually punish you when they download and bait your evasive movements.

Stay close, try and bait her into slipping up by dipping in and out of her range without committing to anything and when she eventually does commit to something; out-right hit her or, if that isn't possible or optimal, try and create pressure to land the hit that you want to. The key is to keep that constant dominant presence over her and be cautious of her options - even being overly cautious and missing potential punishes is better than getting hit by a fair or bair, you shouldn't be in any rush to destroy her or feel like you're under any pressure as long as you keep that optimal range.

I used to stay close to her up high enough to not get hit by her up smashes.
But you know, i guess she can make you get out of the way by using her nair, wich can rule out your aerial approaches.
Zelda has always been hard anyways because her entire gameplay is to play too safe to begin with.
The moment you get careless could make you eat any direction of the cstick from her.

I mean in the case of a scrubby Zelda that spams din's fire, i always make sure to show him just how boring he's using dat side b so he has to make an approach.
Because really, staying close to her is just encouraging her to just pull whatever quick stuff she has to make your bair game difficult as ****.

Is what i think it is.
