Oh that's right, there's like, not a single recording of a MM with jigglypuff in it.
But i mean it's probably gonna be a scrubby match.
Is it worth it.

Either you have children or you watched this show whenyou were younger. No, I didn't miss out. I watched it when I was younger, but grew out of it. It was frying my brain cells. If I watch cartoons, I usually watch Adventure Time/Regular Show, adult ones like family guy/american dad, and anime. Don't feel sorry for me. There's nothing to feel sorry about and I'm doing better without spongebob :B

Family Guy is more geared towards 15 year olds than Spongebob.

Wifi isn't a bad way to practice, heaps of players improved very quickly from Wifi lol...

Also, let's not talk about Spongebob/Family Guy when we should talk about P:M Puff, why she's good, and hope she'll be MUCH better in smash 4

If she's cut, then I'll be cutting someone in return. AFAIK, they're still keeping the original N64 Chars. There's no media on it, but so far it's been the norm.

Puff is also a mascot for the 1st generation pkmns, after Pikachu.
If they cut her from smash, it would be like cutting Luigi in any mario games.
It would just not make sense.

If anything it's the opposite. IIRC it she was confirmed for brawl in a trailer and was the only character Sakurai stated he intended to nerf for/within brawl. A far cry from not being included considering that at least one "not included" has pretty much all frame data etc in the coding of brawl but just not a completed character. A couple others have a good portion as well just not nearly as much. This was due to time constraints.

She wasn't in any trailers afaik, I don't remember sakurai saying that.

All lists of characters within the game have puff, toon link and wolf at the end of the list iirc, as if they were late additions. They have no role in SSE and TL/wolf are blatant clones (which implies filler character/late addition, and says something about the fact that puff is with them)

W/e you are probably right about the trailer, but I remember reading a bunch of references to him saying it way back. Could all have been based on a false rumor I suppose, but it doesn't matter. Nintendo still leaked/accidentally confirmed Puff, Ness, Lucario, and PK trainer? (not sure about the last one) with the stickers video way back. I do agree she was one of the last inclusions (presuming it was a rumor), but I in no way think she was close to being actually cut from brawl.

Ok then. So you imply that Jigglypuff was a late addition (despite the fact that Jigglypuff is pretty much a mascot of the smash franchise since N64...)
So then what?
You assume that she should just be left off?
Just because she got the nerf on Brawl that she did not deserve , she should just go away because she was bad in that one game?
Her rest play was what defined Jigglypuff thourough the franchise and that was what made her such a dangerous character.
She could be send flying easily, yet if caught off guard, that mistake could of cost that opponent dearly.
That ****ing glass-cannon effect.
If Sakurai did indeed intended to nerf her for Brawl, i'd say that nerf rendered her useless for no reason whatsoever.
I wouldn't matter if her rest would have been slightly tweaked to prevent them from dying faster, but making rest nearly unusable was the biggest mistake Sakurai has ever done.

@Desu, Sakurai already stated characters will be cut and ever ones that have made repeat performances should not be considered safe. I will be filled with salt if she was cut though. And given the fairy type thing I really really don't see there being much of any chance of her actually being cut for smash 4. Seriously the fairy type thing is a huge +.

Actually, you're assuming that I think she shouldn't be in smash 4
and you're assuming that the reason for that is because she was bad in brawl
and then you started ranting about rest

you ok, buddy? <3

EDIT: I forgot about the fairy thing, Osennecho is right.

Nah, im cool.
Im just upset about the fact that many people keeps complaining against Jiggs and many people just wants her out for no reason.
But yeah, as long as the fairy type thing was featured, they could always (at worst) rethink her whole moveset to suit it at most.

It's ok, Jiggs is one of those character that generate a lot of hatred from people for no apparent reason. Other good examples are Olimar, rob and wii fit trainer.

So yeah, haters gonna hate, and they're gonna hate it even more when Jiggs makes it back in Smash 4.

But how?
there's no official statements about it whatsoever.

Saying that TL, Wolf, and Jigglypuff are late additions because of a list of characters depicting them at the end of it is just mere speculation.
But i do understand that it does look weird that a veteran was hanging out with those two on the bottom of that list.

I mean who would want Puff on Intense in SSE. Oh... I'm sorry did you just get poked at 10% and die? How sad. >_>.... That logic does have some reason to it or at least to it being harder to find a place to fit her into, still I'm more inclined to say that she was a late add.

Ok so i just got on a tourney yesterday and i feel like i've betrayed my ideals.
I mean sure, i kept playing Jiggs for a good part of it but i just went farther with DDD.
So i guess he'll be my "second" second main...

BTW Osennecho, im starting up my quest for hacking my wii with my measly USB key, so ill hit you up for those long-awaited wifi matches.

Can't wait.

Yay Desu, hack that Wii. I'll DDD ditto you in a fest of lag and die of laughter... In the mean time... I'm being sucked back into melee mad hard =_= despite not knowing people nearby who play it. Played it for 4 hours yesterday, probably the third time since brawl came out i played it at all. Wave dashing, L canceling, and crouch canceling adds so much more depth. It's so easy to pick up IMO as brawl had none of it and we have to play w/o it. Just another thing to add to your play which gives even more options. The only problem being that the number of ways they can be applied is so vast.

BUT my largest problem is.... That I need to practice for SKTAR.... A lot... I'm drowning in pools for sure at this point even if I do practice and were to get the easiest pool =_= cuz I slacked off of brawl lately between work, being sick, and touching melee.

i picked back melee as well.
Only the problem was that i can't even L-cancel properly and wavedash as well as back then.

I don't know if you use cathodic, because HD is mad hard.

I honestly can't even remember whether I was any good at it way back then, but I have a lot of improvement still for those and wavelanding. SD some when I try to get back on the stage w/ a waveland. Isn't reliable at all, but I'm sure if I practiced a bit I could get it down.
