Has anyone seen Monsters University yet? One of the best animated movies I've ever seen tbh, and one of the best sequels (technically a prequel, but you know what I mean).

Glad to know I'm not the only one that doesn't find regular show funny. This is just random for the sake of random, and they're doing it awfully wrong.
There still are some good cartoons here and there, I personnally find adventure time and gravity falls to not be far from freakazoidesque levels of quality.
And of course there's always Futurama.

Ya Desu, it's also my favorite anime to date. Everything serious and not is just blended together perfectly. The stupid Marf board all pretty much didn't like the anime when it got brought up a couple months back >_>... Made me disappointed in them all.

I only watched the first season of code geass, and I've been told that the finale makes it all with it, but... I didn't like it.
The fan service is distracting at best and mood-ruining at worst, and the whole show just screams pretentious IMO. Every episode was just "lets put lelouch in an awful position, and then shoe horn a way for him to get out of it at the end of the episode". For that to work, you need some level of suspense (like how with L and Light in death note, you didn't know who'd win every exchange. Lelouch wins like 90% of the time) or you need to be able to connect with the characters, and no one in the show is real enough to connect with, they are just props that fake-intellectual stories are told through.
Again, I didn't see season 2. And it probably wasn't bad, I just had really high expectations from what people had said.

If there's something you should be watching right now it's Shingeki no Kyojin.
Other than that I don't know, I prefer reading scans to watching anime.

Is the anime for Shingeki no Kyojin better then the manga? I also tend to read scans cause I can read way faster then I can watch anime. I still do both though. For that one I didn't try the anime yet.

Manga is always better than animes since they tend to cut things from the actual storyline or alter them when the manga is not finished.

@Osennecho : the animation of the anime is pretty good so it's worth watching it for the fights. And as far as I know there isn't any filler.

I don't watch a lot of anime but aren't fillers reserved to big names like naruto and one piece ? I know Bleach has a few whole arcs of pure filler.
