Sorry, my post was directed mostly towards B Link as advice on how to deal with camping.

Camping is lame but I'd tell you the same thing: get up on their face so that they can't camp and pwn them

Explain that logic please. Instead of coming up with reasons as to why YBOMBB's win wasn't legit, you guys should just give him his props and move on. Maybe YBOMBB is alot better on console. I doubt Nintendude was THAT rusty. It's funny, it seems that this is the only game where people have a hard time accepting that someone is better than another person even with solid proof.

Just because: you play a jiggly and pikachu + read that someone used jiggly and pikachu =/= that person is the only one who used those two characters. I used random characters throughout the tourney from pikachu to samus.

I never said it was gay -- it's just against the rules. You can't run to the opposite side every time I hit you and constantly move backwards in one direction spamming kirby B-AIR, that's called excessive stalling. I don't think I played 'gay' at all, YBOMBB and vowels were watching and they can testify that I was the one approaching the entire time.

The second part of your quote is simply not true. The top players in ssb64 can approach well even with their "C Tier" characters (Luigi/Link/Samus).

he, as well as many other ssb64 players, including myself, know the general skill of both players. if you don't know their skill and take his obvious rusty loss (c'mon 5stock, serious?) as "solid proof," that's cool.

If he was "obviously rusty" then he shouldn't have played. I know the skill of both players. If you get 5 stocked by jiggly using pika and you're supposedly some "pro", then you obviously aren't as good as everyone says even if you are "rusty".

It might have been falcon -- there were a lot of matches haha. I'm pretty sure it was pikachu though. I doubt nintendude or ybombb remembers either. I know for certain that YBOMBB used jiggs.

Well if thats the issue i dunno why this would be any kinda of problem for anyone. All anyone has to do in order to avoid these players and their styles is get better?

Not meant to be rude honestly (seems that way when i read it) i know you're a legit player and i enjoy playing games with you...but i just dont like the general "hate" mild camping players get.

This is all assuming he ISN'T stalling to the point where he isn't trying to win...which i doubt he was since you stated these games where close.

Truth be told you're one of the only (probably the only) person i actually camp against

I've found a way to beat you using a tactic that exploits a hole in your game play...not a hole in the game.

Yoshi can't really approach anything above him, since he technically only has one jump. You're an idiot if you go chasing after people above you the whole match with your second jump with Yoshi. That's a hole in Yoshi's game not mine.

Now my Fox, that's probably more my issue than Fox's. I just get bored and annoyed at someone who is literally jumping above me all match so I run after them.

I never read into whether people are being rude or not -- that doesn't really matter to me. I don't think people should get angry if my writing tone is rude either, but I apologize if it ever is. The only thing that matters to me when I read someone's post is the argument set forth. I also enjoy playing you and we shouldn't stop playing just because we argue with each other =)

I don't really want to type out a long post breaking down everything here (I'll pm you).

After having played you for 4-5 years I wouldn't put you in the 'camper' category (too bad D=).

Also, despite the extremely low quality in the tourney vids I recorded, I guess I'll upload them anyway so that people get some sort of idea of how the matches looked like. I recorded the last 3 matches of the GF. Check out my youtube page in a couple of hours.

I don't camp your yoshi, i only double jump spam and do easy grab and gimp combos.

And Yoshi's backlashes are not a fault in this game, but more so...the character. Should i say this game is broken because yoshi can parry?

If you don't like / cant find an answer to that characters faults you should switch to another.

Surri I've got a better idea. I'll just continue to play my fun/flawed character against non lame people (which seems to be pretty much everyone except you, well and maybe m2k lolol).

And it's not like I couldn't find an answer to your camping if I wanted to, you beat me one set ever and it was like 3-1 or 3-2. But instead of playing more of the worst smash matches I've ever played I'd rather just not play.

to clear things up when i 5 stocked nintedude he wasnt pika he was falcon and when b link faced me2king it was the most boring match i ever seen because of the camping style of kirby i dont see how anyone can have fun doing that and me2king is lucky he didnt face me i eat up cheap kirbies just ask MATTS haha

My logic is that I have played them both and I am fairly certain that Nintendude is better when he is playing well. Yes, YBOMBB's win was legit - it's Nintendude's fault if he wasn't playing his best. I suppose you could argue that consistency is a part of skill too, but if you're talking about peak skill alone I think Nintendude is better.

It's admittedly hard to tell here because YBOMBB is like UNKNOWN, where he brags a ton about his skill and it's hard to argue against it because he mostly plays teams.
