Okay, so there's these kids, in the neighborhood,and they are generally alright kids. They're mostly black, with like, 2 white kids and a hispanic in there, and they live about 2 houses down from me, where they play basketball, and listen to their music loudly.

Now, I don't have a problem with any of that. My problem is, when they're not playing their basketball, or listening to their music, they're sitting on MY doorstep/Front porch, and Talking, listening to their IPods loudly, or knocking on the door practically begging for something to eat.

So, what do I do? I yell at them, tell them to stop hanging out around my house, and go to their own houses. Their response? "Come make us!" So I did. I went inside, grabbed my 450FPS AK-74 Model Airsoft gun and opened fire on their ***es. Now I've got their parents breathing down my neck because I "Hurt their little angels" and I "Was too hard on them." They can all kiss my ***. And you know what? They still sit on my front porch and doorstep. I repeat my actions of shooting them with my airsoft guns, coming out and yelling, and they still won't leave!

What should I do? BTW, I'm only 17. And it's STARTING to piss me off.

Call the cops and put up no trespassing signs. Next time they're on your property, they'll be warned by the police to stay away.
If they do it again, they get charges and/or fines. I'm sure their parents won't be happy with paying a $50-$350 fine and their precious little snowflakes having criminal records. [depending on local laws etc I'm just guessing here. OURS is $250 fine if it's a repeated offense and after a couple fines it's considered stalking/harassment and you get into some srs ****.]

They're trespassing and you've told them to leave several times. Call the cops.

Do something to the porch/doorstep to make them leave. I don't know, throw some beef into a bush right next to your house and let it rot. If that doesn't work, throw beef at them.

Azua's idea works too though.

i would grab at least 5-6 of my football friends and scare the pants off of em by

yelling cuss words at them while running at em with baseball bats and a big wooden stick (a knife mabe) while one of us wears a goalie mask :D if that don't work and they still keep coming..... SUE THEIR *** FOR TRESPASSING!!!

For the sake of taking the safe, non-borederline-illegal route, I say do what Azua said.

But if you happen to live in an area with crooked/lazy police officers (thus, in the case that what she said is unlikely to work), then record the phone calls with the officers and possibly get your hands on a video camera that you can set up somewhere on your porch (it MUST have the proper time and date running on it). Do this to document if they actually show up after the phone call. If they never do, and you've called a three or four times (all on different days), then take the liberty to beat the **** out of the kids or what have you. After all, they are trespassing, and no law enforcer is doing their job. If the parents press charges, then you have evidence proving that you tried to take the safe route; but the police never complied. Between the two, you not only will get yourself off the hook, but you could then counter sue and (I believe...) you have the ability to sue the cops as well. Oh ****, double whammy!

That's highly circumstantial, of course. Not likely to happen. :\

My best friend got away with no sheet after being found guilty of assaulting 2 police officers.

After what they did to him, they couldn't be crying, he only broke one of their jaws, lulz.

Yeah, no sympathy though, don't think about it.

Oh yeah, this is Georgia we're talking about isn't it? Iirc, the rules are different in MI. I might be wrong though. Anyway, my suggestion was merely circumstantial based on if what you said doesn't work. Remember that although the law is pretty solid, there is some sense of bend for the case of judicial morality (or so I hope...otherwise there are more flaws in the system than I thought). If cops aren't doing anything, and the kids won't leave with threats of cops, AND you have signs that say No Trespassing, then I'd expect you'd be given some lenience on what you can and can't do. And when I say 'beat the **** out of', I basically just mean badly enough that they won't want to mess with you...not breaking body parts or anything. ._.

Although I get what you mean by my post. I should probably change that...

Well the constitution give you the right to defend property
Which in most places translates to beat up someone who is tresspassing

Though that probably wouldn't fly in court because it's already been established that they aren't trying to harm you

I would be totally pissed in the OP's situation. They're are some random kids BEGGING for food, and causing a disturbance that affects me.

Then after telling them numerous times to get off my property, the keep coming back. To me that's trespassing. Telling them to GTFO more than once, and they keep coming back to annoy the **** out of you is probably going to affect your mental status.

Tell me your 450 FPS Ak is full auto.

Um, when kids wont get off your freaking property and are BEGGING for food, it should be a given right to shoot at them.


And um, calling someone a jerk because said intruders are kids is just...dumb. I had this problem, and because I wasn't a jerk, I didn't do anything til they practically jumped me. SEE HOW THAT WORKS OUT HERP DERP DERP.

Tell their parents to get that discipline on when it happens again. That probably would have been the most tactful option to start with, but the outburst is understandable. (airsoft gun was getting into sketchy areas but digress) If they don't step it up, A) they are ******** and B) you should feel free to get a higher authority up in there. You living with parents?
