From what I've read about Smash4, I don't think it'll suck. I don't get why it gets so little credit.

I guess its because people wanted Brawl to be a remake of Melee and when it wasn't, they decided to pin the same prejudice on Smash 4.

I may roll off to AH3:LM if smash 4 is just as bad as brawl..... oh wait XD, WiiU... No support for the superior controller known as the Gamecube Controller, being done in collaboration with Tecmo. Yeah I'm not hyped for it. YO HOME TO THE LAND OF WAIFU HEART!

I'm sticking with Brawl like Isai stuck with 64. Just because there really isn't a game out there I'd rather play that I'd also like to pump the same mount of effort into as I have into Brawl.

I agree with Ussi. Brawl was supposed to be a party game, not a fighting game or a shoot-em-up game. I'm fine with it personally. Anyone else have comments?

Hey Ike mains, got another question for ya.

What's the most useful jab cancel string that you like to use?

My personal favorite is jab1>jab1>jab2>jab1>jab2>jab3 and surprisingly it works almost all the time.

After a wgile it'll probably stop working, when your usual opponents start SDI'ing away because they need to find a way to stop taking 30% at each jab they take. That's what happened to me so my favorite is jab 1>123, or simply jab1>grab etc.

people don't understand
that there isn't a "best jab string."

You change it depending on where your opponent is and where they are moving during your jab string.
After some time, you get used to when you can reset your jabs, when you need to hit a jab 2, and when you need to finish the combo.

But if it's a european tournament. You can probably bet that sinth will go, probably a couple of others too. I probably wont, because Im now poor as hell XD

Also, when Im doing a jab combo, I usually do Jab1>Jab1>Jab2>Jab3. its just easy and they wont be able to Sdi out in time unless its monsier doom

So far, there are about 55 attendants, with probably around 10 non-french brawlers. If anyone has questions, they can ask here or on the thread, we'll try to answer. Sucks about you not coming, but money is a legit john, alas. Do you think you'll be able to make it to other european tournaments ? (like UCIL in luxemburg, end of august)

Oh I see. I'll talk to sinth about it, I'd like to attend it for sure, it this in a similar place as leons smash clash from last year?
I got a new job on friday, hopefully I can save some cash and come along

Basically the same, except you can sleep at the venue on the night of saturday to sunday and it's MUCH easier to get there.
