This whole way of manipulating people through lies and fear-mongering is absolutely ****ing disgusting to me. You don't have to approve of everything the President does, but comparing the President to Hitler is absolutely unpatriotic and completely unacceptable.

And when Obama doesn't "loot the middle class" or turn America into "Nazi Germany," no one on that side will admit they were wrong. It's amazing to me.

The modern day Democratic and Republican parties both use lies and fear mongering to get their votes, truth be told. The left tries to convince people that if people don't support them that America will become a cultural wasteland, women, the poor, the elderly, and children will die by the millions, corporations and the freakishly rich will control every aspect of American life, education will go completely to crap, and every racist and bigot will have a field day. The right tries to convince people that if people don't support them that morality will cease to exist, terrorists will run rampant, we'll live under a communist system of wealth, we'll be left with no national security,the military will be left to rot, religion will be outlawed, taxes will be up the butt, and the government will have control every aspect of American life.

The whole thing is just one spectacularly giant farce and it's no wonder why so many people around the world and even in this country see "American Politics" as an oxymoron.
