I dont beleive anyone with that opinion knows how big melee really is right now, go check out m2k's thread for confirmation, melee attendance for pound 4, was higher than any brawl tournament has ever had. Melee doesn't need to be saved, with brawl being in mlg now it might equal out for brawl to keep up with melee, but I doubt it.

This is stupid simply because Brawl was NOT meant to be competitive.
And sure, maybe Sakurai didn't intend it for melee either, But I played Brawl when it came out, and it is just NOT competitive.

BEtter build a time machine, because it's been competative since it came out. BEtter go tell the rock-paper-scissors guys to stop too.

Pound 4 had a higher attendance rate than any BRawl tournament.

However, what's the attendance of Melee tournaments over a whole year compared to Brawl tournaments?

Anyway, this thead juust another melee vs brawl thing again.
