SO..

smashfest consisted of Churro, peza16, Rabidjackal, Knuttz, and Gnosis.

out of 13 possible attendants, so it wasn't exactly the epic smashfest you'd die to go to :)

We had plenty of fun as always, I got way better by the end, and beat Gnosis :)
"1-52" hellz yeah lolol.

I'm picking up Falco since I can now manage, thanks Gnosis, really helped a lot.

Falco, Peach, Mario, and Link, I will learn them...

we need to discuss going to this... MUCH bigger venue planned for this compared to TP2.
Originally planned a Regional, now a National, with players coming down from east coast, midwest.
Knuttz might be able to get sponsored for this, (I'll talk with Gameclucks Guy)

Hello people of Smash Boards! Well I'm new here and from Idaho too. Idaho Falls to be exact. I've skimmed through parts of this topic, not all 332 that would take me way to long. Anyway I was just wondering if there's ever going to be a tournament relatively close say, anywhere between Pocatello and Rexburg? I've only attended one smash tournament 5 years ago at Game Crazy in Idaho Falls. So it's nice to meet all of you and hopefully I will have a great time here.

I dunno if he still is, but Buzz Saw was in rexburg. And I think Turtlehoop goes to school in Pocatello (again correct me if I'm wrong guys, just trying to help). Also I'm not sure how close Idaho Falls is to Burley, but we've got mecakoto there and hes got quite a few amount of friends there who are into smash.

We need more smash64 here in Idaho. And we need to beat up the kids that won't switch from brawl to melee.

Oh, and another thing, "Is all you guys play is Wii? I mean, you sound hardcore at what you do, but you need to stop ganging up on the 10 year olds." The guy working at playntrade said this to us :D

As much as I'm loving Melee right now, I have no plans on quitting Brawl.

It sucks not having anyone here to practice with, but it's not in me to quit a game some people think is too easy/too simple, yet aren't successful at it.
This is actually a big reason why I'm not quitting.
This one-man community strives me to play even more.

while I agree there is some cheap- retarted stuff, it's not like the same isn't on the rest of the SSB series, this stuff depends on players =/

I understand where you're coming from with this. Brawl's problem, though, isn't that it's way too easy to be good at it, it's problem is that it isn't fun being good at it. If its fun for you, great, go ahead and play it, but dont stick with it just because you're annoyed by other people dismissing it in a way you think is just out of hand.

I didn't say to quit Brawl altogether, sorry if it sounds like that. We just need everyone to play melee. (WESTINBESTIN, Thomas, and jgoodwin) Soooooo I guess it's just eagle crew. But still...we need to pummel their faces in till they like melee.

I enjoy playing Brawl, good point though. Another reason why, is that I have a lot to learn. Time will tell I guess =)

I'd go, but I don't think the idea of an out of state tournament flies by my parents too well. We'll see though.

I agree, I know how to play brawl but I also have'nt forgotten about melee and 64 if anyone wants to play me at melee or the 64 then i would love the practice please pm me I moved back to nampa.

that sounds awesome considering i can play both at a decent level. muahaha, i think the only other person that can actually play 64 is qraq.


PS IMPORTANTE: I have a new car. hit me up for more smash. i can get to boise on 1 gallon

So, um, I moved into my new dorm today. I have, like, space and ****. I have a feeling there's going to be a lot of smash going on over here. Once I get a new TV, that is.

In that case we have enough people to sart a Smash 64 crew, lol, nah j/k but it would be cool to get more practice on the game. Also I play alot of melee, but no one to practice with. So if anyone in the namp/boise area gets a smash fest going on or just wants to play let me know.

I'm down for practice on weekends for the most part, I'll PM you my address right now so you can have it in case I ever host anything again.

I actually had a smashfest not so long ago, man I fail lol

I'm down for some melee, I don't play 64 much.
I play melee and brawl.


you can give me your address if you want, but I currently have a hard time even leaving the house so meh =/
