try it in like 1/4 time so you get a feel for how far down you drop. it's really far. then just recreate the action in full time. that's how i did it.

also i use y and then just slide my thumb over to B. it's easiest imo.

Like, for real ^_^

Any tips on how to edge-hop double lazer?
Depends on the kind of lasers you want.

If you want the first laser to be higher (which you might want in some situations) then drop edge, jump as soon as possible, then shoot (you should try to time your shooting so that the laser comes out when Falco reachs the top of his jump). If you want your lasers to be at the same height and ground level you need to drop, wait for a fraction before jumping, then jump using stick and not X or Y and then shoot (this time the first laser should come out a fraction before Falco reachs top height so that the second one comes out before Falco starts dropping altitude). Generally speaking, my ability to do edge hop double lasers improved dramatically after I learning I could do it using stick to jump.

LOL Juan, for me the easiest way to get LHDL is to put my index finger on Y then hit Down om the control stick --> Y --> Bx2. Try it out like that for a while and see how it works out.

Does he want to learn edge-hop double lasers or does he want to learn that thing where your run off-stage then double jump into double lasers (bombsoldier-style)?

HBox, IMO the easiest way to do it is to use the control stick to LHDL. Personally it feels easier because you do a quick FF, and then you double jump, so the control is condensed into one hand. Then you press B with the other.

The problem I always had with LHDL was that I never got the first laser out quickly enough after jumping. IDK if this is your problem, but you could try pressing B faster after you jump. That's what solved my problems.

Edit: Did anyone else see Hbox's Jiggs tendencies in that match up above? Spacing lots of backairs, double utilt on shield, etc? Maybe I was just looking for it, but it made me laugh.
