I disagree with Sonics place on the Tier List

Before i get started, i will say that Sonic is not the best character in the game.

Sonic in my oppion (yes, i know i spelled that wrong) should at least be at the bottem of the Middle Tier. Here is why:

1: Sonic is fast. Sonics running speed is the fastest in the game, and although his attacks are not as fast as Meta Knight, he still is quite fast at attacking.
2: Sonic's speed allows him to rack up damage fast. His Up Smash, Forward Air, and Dash Attack are all great ways to rack up damage. This negates the fact that he only has 3 killing moves (Up Air, Foward Smash, and Back Air)

if anyone else has anything to add to this, i will comment on it.

Sonic's seen as the joke character in Brawl anyway. Sonic mains are continuously ignored and despite Sonic having better tournament results than half the characters in the game he's below most of them in the tier list.
Tier list shouldn't make a difference to you anyway. Play how you want to. Let the SBR be ignorant of Sonic.

Sonic is low tier, and he will probably stay there. Nobody likes Sonic and they are blind to his potential. Every other character's tournament results matter except for Sonic's. Sonic apparently sucks against every character. We have steak.

And I'm certain Sonic won't be low tier anymore come a couple of years. Not that it matters. Tiers don't change the character, only some people's perception of the character. Ignore the tier list, and pwn anyway.

over HALF the posts were made before Brawl was released in the US.

I'm going to say over 75% of the original posters in the Sonic forum either quit playing Brawl or quit maining Sonic.

It just shows the level of casual fanboyism that makes Sonic seem like a popular character.

The Tier lists change, don't take it so seriously. Also, if you're that concern, work on making Sonic a better character. It's certainly been done before.
