The purpose of this thread is to form a record of Ness players' tourney results. Post your results here and they will be listed here. To have a result in the OP, please post your result in the format shown below:

yes he did. what we did was top 2 played in a final match, but i underestimated the guy who beat me and used diddy, so with ness i went undefeated

I would count any tournament that had an entry fee, the cash pot was rewarded to the top placing players, had generally competitive rules, and was in person.

Pretty well, almost all the top french players switch from Brawl to Sm4sh and most of the best player are from Paris, so getting a good ranking is pretty difficult.
(You can notice Glutonny and Leon for exemple, in the 2nd tourney, you should know them I'm pretty sure)
The only sad thing, there's way too much diddy, especially in Paris :/ I must learn the mu.

Placed 3rd. I lost to a Wario and a Rosalina. It was my first time playing against Wario in Smash 4, but I have Wario experience now. My Matches against the Rosalina WERE SUPER close, but I SD'd at 20% at one point. Fun tournament nevertheless. The Foundry is a Game Themed Bar in San Francisco that also has Melee, Street Fighter and other tournaments.

Placed 3rd. I lost to a Wario and a Rosalina. It was my first time playing against Wario in Smash 4, but I have Wario experience now. My Matches against the Rosalina WERE SUPER close, but I SD'd at 20% at one point. Fun tournament nevertheless. The Foundry is a Game Themed Bar in San Francisco that also has Melee, Street Fighter and other tournaments.

Thanks dude. I think in my area, there's just a couple of people there better than me that'll always place higher than me until I figure out how to beat them. I've gotta play them more if I want to get into top 2, or even have a chance at first.

That tournament was held on a Thursday and It was my first time going LOL. So what I had to do was somehow get people to cover my work shifts on Wednesday,Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and I skipped Class Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. I had to go from Davis all the way back home to San Jose and then to SF. Not a good idea though missed a lot of school, but it was pretty worth it. I didn't realize it, but I was on stream the most. All my matches from that night were on live stream and recorded.

Yeah at the moment, there nothing to complain about, the scene is quite active !
And every monday evening, I go to locals, 32 people, don't know if I can mentione them here, 'cause there is no proofs, and no loser bracket x)

Wow did the tournament last a couple days or were you guys just staying in town for a couple days to play a bit? I really love playing on stream! It's really fun cause you can watch your vids later, and I love hearing the commentators talk about my play. It's always very interesting to find out how people think about my playstyle.

Playing with customs is pretty different in some matchups. I think it's very important to spend time practicing them cause it can be pretty shocking when you go up against them the first time in a real match.

I've only gone to one custom tournament and I didn't have much trouble except for Villager's exploding balloons. I was able to learn from my mistakes though thankfully.


I haven't been playing smash at all lately! I've been really missing it to. It's just a combination of school, work, boys, friends and League. Soon enough I'll have time for smash again. I feel like for me smash is an all or nothing endeavor. And I don't have a huge amount of time right now to commit to it. Though I'll return soon.
