Sooo... I posted this highlight video a while ago now. The reason I brought it up? I recently found another highlight video from the same guy. He uploaded it a month ago.Sooo... I know I saw this highlight video because it's in my liked videos and I, of course, remember it. Thought I'd found it here, but apparently not. It's not linked in this thread where it belongs at least. Maybe it was randomly linked in another thread on the Zelda board, but the fact is it's not here in this thread as far as I can tell.

My favorite Zelda highlight video I've seen at least.

Nice, you play very similar to how I do online, I also like how whenever you Dsmash, or NL the opponent at mid-percents to where they get knocked on the ground, you use FW to read their roll, excellent man :D@ Dee-SmashinBoss
This is from some FG games I've done in the past 2 days experimenting with Zelda's changes. I play a little more aggressively online against randoms because I can get away with it. I'm usually a lot more defensive than this. Also, lag is a *****.

Thanks. As soon as we get direct Youtube upload, I might start posting more FG silliness. Next time I go to a tourney, I'll see if I can get on stream too. We had an open stream at Smash & Splash that no one wanted to compete on while I was doing my pool matches so I'm kinda disappointed I didn't take advantage of that now.Nice, you play very similar to how I do online, I also like how whenever you Dsmash, or NL the opponent at mid-percents to where they get knocked on the ground, you use FW to read their roll, excellent man :D

Basically, more great Zelda stuff.

Been playing a lot of Zelda lately btw.
Did I honestly see Peach's fair go through a phantom and hit you? WTF is with her fair hitbox?

This probably counts as a double post but I'm super excited that this just happened. I was messing around on FG today trying out new applications of nair since it has changed and I heard people claim that it combos into the elevator now because of the extra hitstun since Zelda's front hitbox now does 2% instead of 1%. What I got was this.

I apologize for the quality as I have no capture card.
The Zeldaboards have been experimenting with this since that patch and have found that there are a few options you can follow up with. The Elevator is the most obvious followup when the opponent is 70%+ though it gives the opponent more time to consider which direction to DI the elevator since they know we're gonna use it after a nair so we have to be sure to react to that since straight up will miss against smart opponents. On bigger characters or if the opponent happens to bounce high, we can followup with a guaranteed usmash as well which'll kill most people around 100%-ish. We can also string together nair>dtilt>nair>dtilt etc. or just hit them with a dsmash since dtilt>nair isn't guaranteed. I think that's it. The tricky thing is hitting with that nair in the first place since landing with it is still risky and it loses to so many other aerials.I don't think this is getting enough attention on here, this is HUGE and kinda explains what the change in Nair was for most likely. There are many ways to setup for a fastfall/autocancel nair into Zeldavator. I wonder what other attacks you can follow up with or is Zeldavator the best option in most cases... to the lab :D
Zylach - have you tried any other moves after the Nair?

I know this was against FG players but... that was so satisfying.Hi everyone! I want to share with you my latest combo montage :
This was the hardest montage I made. Because of keeping the combo cool while synchronized with the music. Hope you guys will like it!
Nice Nair to UpB killMacchiato vs FloatCancel

I trust that you're the guy. I don't see a reason for deception. If it wasn't obvious, you've made some of my favorite montage videos. Pretty flashy and sharp, just like a montage video should be. The video quality is a bit low, but the content gets an A+. Wish there were more montage videos out there for Zelda like it... Cosmo has a good one, though short, and @ M23-X0 just posted a pretty great one in this thread. There may be other gems out there but I've not been looking lately. Been anticipating if and when you do another. Would be awesome if Zelda had some more tricks discovered or patched in so that she has more tools and things to show off in videos like this.I'm not posting a video or anything but I just wanted to mention that I'm the Zelda in the video that @ jahkzheng posted a while back. Unintentionally, I've been rather quiet about my identity, and also in really even being around the Zelda boards so I guess this is my hello to everyone.
HiIs meI swear
That R.O.B. kill might've been my favorite just because I didn't expect that last kick below the screen to be something you'd actually go for and get. The Luigi kill was very slick too.Hi everyone! I want to share with you my latest combo montage :

I thought there were some pretty funny moments in those two..Dedede is so intimidating, I was laughing when he shield broke me.
Personally, I'm not a fan of montage/highlight/combo videos of Zelda. I prefer to watch actual matches, it's fun watching how other people play zelda and what techniques they use. I pick up a lot of things from watching actual matches(i.e macchiato's nair to up b).
I ended the last stock thanks to you! (1:47)I have a purpose :^ )
It's tough to give helpful criticism because those players were not good. I like your style though. Looks like you just have to practice appropriate punishes. I saw a few moments where you could've landed some Lkick punishes to end their stocks right there and then but you opted for different options. Also, when you use phantom as the opponent is recovering to the ledge, don't use it as they snap to the ledge. Hitting them on that 1-frame vulnerability window with phantom is nearly impossible. Instead, hold it longer and use it to cover their getup option. The new and improved phantom can actually cover every single getup option if timed right and will hit them on the ledge if they hang on too long and you're the proper distance away. Don't forget that dthrow>uair is better damage than dthrow>nair now and can net you early kills if the opponent DI's in your favor. I'd need footage of you facing better players in order to really evaluate anything though because, again, the DK and Pika were not good at all.Hey all. Been lurking the Zelda forums for a while now and been playing her for a couple of months. This woman is amazing once you figure her out. She got hands for days. Here's a couple recent matches I've played. Criticism is welcome!
Appreciate the feedback, homie. I actually do go for Kicks quite a lot, but they're a bit 50/50 for me because I haven't mastered the spacing on them quite yet. But good looks on the tip for Phantom, though. I'll definitely keep that in mind on my future matches. And I do actually go for dthrow>uair strings a lot, but I don't know... I just love the way dthrow>nair>nair looks, even though I know its far from optimal :DIt's tough to give helpful criticism because those players were not good. I like your style though. Good stuff though. Looks like you take to Zelda pretty well. You're patient and generally know when you can go in versus staying back. I'd be happy to watch more footage.
