Jazz Jack Rabbit is an old DOS game, I've tried some ways of installing but they either failed or I got halfway through them before stuff got very confusing.

I know it's hard to get DOS games to run on Windows XP, which is what I'm running.

I want to get Jazz Jack Rabbit 1 and also 2, but I'm happy with just 1.

Is anyone good at this kind of thing or has done it before, It was one of my favourite games and I would love to have it so much~

Please help, and thankyou

(it's like sonic the hedgehog with a gun and it has awesome music, here is a video with no sound)

I clicked the link for ttpatch and i got "HTTP 404 - File not found."

thankyou Mic but im not sure why it didnt work.

Is it possible that once someone else has done the work on their computer, I can get it off them on USB?
And then that would work on mine? I'm terrible at this stuff :(

You can actually get it on Wii Homebrew

Try DOS Box
If Not
Create a Virtual Machine of an older OS
If Not
Try find a windows version?
If Not
Get an emulator and get the bad console ports D:

I tried DOS box but I ran into some problems. I'll look back into them and elaborate on them and see if you can help me with them. For now I'm going to sleep.

I am totally keen to get it on Homebrew lol! I really want a version with sound ><
the music is too good.

Fark Splice this game was big before you were even born! I'm surprised you even know what DOS is! :p

I loved this game so much. I'm also keen now to get it on my comp.

DOS box is probably your best option Splice. I had to get it working for my dad to play Wolf 3D, not that I think he can use it anyway lol.

it just looks like sonic the hedgehog, I don't get it.

What's so special?
Everybody hates you. QQ

btw Sonic the Hedgehog is awesome anyway, so it's already special with just that going for it.
+ Better music than Sonic
+ Darker looking levels/themes

+ Hidden stuff
+ Nostalgia
