I usually just listen to music or play a video game. I also seem to relax a lot more after I've hit something (inanimate objects, don't worry :p).

Oh No! Here comes Snake's Up-Tilt!
I either get rid of the source of the stress, play video games, go outside, or push getting rid of the source of the stress for another time.

But, when I play brawl, when I snap, I play Meta Knight.......and I don't stop.........until I lose..........

Playing music or listening to music is a fantastic outlet for any negative emotions.

Keeps me pretty calm.

Music/video games/anime usually. On occasion, I lose control and hit things. Chess also really seems to help a lot.

Usually by playing video games, and/or going outside.

And @ Overload: I play chess, but for some reason it never helped me relieve stress, probably because you have to concentrate too much, and sit still for a long time with almost no movement.

It's weird. If I'm really angry chess doesn't work well because I just can't focus, but if I'm not I just sort of lose myself in the game. It also works well when I'm just feeling down. I usually play correspondence chess so I don't have to constantly be at the board either. I can take however long I'd like thinking of my next move and I don't have to commit myself to sitting there for a long time.

video games add to my stress if not cause it.. lolol
i get really worked up..... but im not a sore loser in games like SSBB or MKW
but games like SMG if i cant get a certain star after working on it for hours on end, then i go crazy...THAT, and my little bros, when i have to babysit them, and they decide to "play"(fight).
a mixutre of the two, playing SMG while listening to my bros "play" causes me to become unstoppable.... my only weakness.... parents....

Uhh...read, play video games, or break something. I've been trying to avoid the last one though. :urg:

I try not to play video games with others because I get really pissed if I lose or something, lol.

I draw or write.

And when I'm stressed my drawings consist of very bloody things, when I write and am stressed they turn out to be very "dark" pieces.

Well, it's hard for anyone to focus when they are angry. And I don't play chess when I'm depressed, cuz I'll probably just drop a pawn or something, and then just completely give up on the game, and resign. I don't play correspondence, unfortunetaly, only OTB, where you often don't have that much time.

I dunno, video games or work out I guess. Though it's hard for me to actually go and work out if I'm really stressed for some reason. But when I do it I usually feel better. The video game I play is usually Melee too since I guess it's sort of a work out to my arms or something.

Listening to music helps out too. Usually calm ambient music, which usually is Metroid music.

I sometime also just watch videos, like LP's or something. Especially ResearchIndicates. I find it hard to get angry when listening to a voice as blessed as that..

play with my guitar
Seconded.

I've found playing guitar to be a great stress reliever. I've also found that writing about what's frustrating you is extremely beneficial as well.

And if all else fails, a fat bong rip should do the trick. :p

Meditation, Melee, music, drinking (not recommended), friendly fighting (not recommended if your really angry, won't turn out too friendly) and song writing. For me, its all about bringing variety into my stress relief. ;)

It depends on the situation. If I'm so stressed that I can't sit in one place and be calm, I'll lie down in a rage and take a nap. If I'm more upset by the stress, I'll listen to music according to the situation. If I'm super-angry, fast/loud music helps. If I'm upset/sad, slow/melodic songs help. In generally any situation, really calm music helps.

There have been a few occasions where I've played Melee when I'm angry, but I find that I just get more irked by trying to play games most of the time when I'm stressed, since I can't concentrate on them and ragequit after about five seconds.

I work.

My job is one of the places I can go and actually get my mind of things. I work with people almost like me so they can relate to either what I'm going through or who I am. Even if I'm just hangin out there I feell that I'm in a relaxing environment.

I've taken walks at 2-3 am. Not sure how much it helps though, as I'm constantly paranoid that someone will see me and I like to try to stay vigilant.

Smoke some weed and take my dogs for a walk, smoke some weed and play smash, or smoke some weed and listen to music. Smoking weed and expressing my thoughts through handwriting has been something I resort to if my stress is reocurring. If it's something I cannot handle, something that is too hard to deal with, I go to sleep for a long time.

writing music/songs, playing games, exercise.

Also minor things that get to me, I just take a large breath and hold in my chest for a while. When I exhale I pretend I'm exhaling the stress. It's dumb but it helps me.
