What really matters if how you guys apply yourself for your future and the decisions you make with your money. Currently 66% of my bi-monthly salary goes straight to bills. Soon to be Car note to be paid off in 1 year, then straight to student loans afterwards. Many people who finish college do not have the mind set I have. They keep that 20k+ debt of student loans make minimum payments and live life of debt.

Blah blah blah. Keep your heads in school. Make good grades, finish college, find a job. MAKE MONEY.

Lol, if you want to know my background. My parents both didn't finish college. We weren't raised with the typical Filipino Nurse induced family. They did have to work hard day in and day out to make ends meet. I think we were on food stamps back in the day.

Where I am today is from the hard work I did through school. Never slacking. My parents was my motivation. Some people are blessed with the wealth of growing up.


Smoom, I graduated high school in 2005.

From there I changed majors 3 times throughout the process.

I graduated college may 2011.

6 years.

Edit: School > Games. Games will always be there waiting for you. Your GPA won't.

Sucks that UofH Downtown requires you to do 2 years of core classes before you can even take any classes of your major though.

I used to wanted to major in history and teach at the college level. But for the past 3-4 years I've had zero motivation/urge. Now a have a kid/wife so school can't be done.

First I gotta figure out what I want to do. 2nd I gotta figure out how to raise my gpa because FAFSA won't loan me money untill my grades improve(I blew off my 1st two years in junior college). 3rd I gotta figure out how to stay motivated because I absolutely HATE school more than anything I have ever done in life. It feels like such a waste of time and money because u never use 80% of the classes u take. Then I realize how long it takes for me to become what I want to be and it seems like forever.

Xyro just take those classes anyway? Get dat FAFSA support. Then avenues will open up since you have prerequisites.

Abandoning distractions completely can help with motivation. It worked for me, at least (for instance, I left my wii at home every year).
