I've actually had the strong urge to start reading some books today.

Dracula (because I just beat Castlevania: Circle of the Moon)
Game of Thrones (and the subsequent series, my dad has them all)
The Lost Symbol (I liked The Da Vinci Code and LOVED Angels and Demons)

But still, movies>books.

he said "most movies are based off of books" so that means any given year(in this case 2010) should have a majority of book based movies cause after all "most movies are based off of books" right?

Dang I went to Dallas :(
San Antonio could be taking 2 carpools (up to 10 ppl) to HOBO. Anyone up for housing us?
I'm assuming Sync is full already lol.
Leaf, house us.
Leaf, house us.
Leaf, house us.
If you guys would really be interested in driving to Dayton then I can see about housing.

Leaf, read cupcakes.
You can't come.

If you guys are legitimately serious about housing with me, the venue is only 20 minutes farther than if it were from Syncs house and my place is kinda big. You just might have to deal with a couple of dogs that could be put up for the night and I can promise there will be a lot of space for us to put air mattresses because I have a tile/cement floor atm.
And we have a few air mattresses around here, and a couch bed.
I'll talk to my parents tomorrow if you guys want.

Lol at putting sequels in that list when the original movie wasn't based off a book. That list consists of 90% bad movies btw

And books>comics>manga>anime>movies

sorry Xyro that is not true

Movies depend a lot on who is making it, the budget, and the overall look and feel of the movie in general.

For example, great movies based on books

- The GodFather
- Schindler's List
- Who Framed Roger Rabbit
- LOTR
- Million Dollar Baby
- Beautiful Mind
- Die Hard ( believe it or not )

I could go on but those are some great movies

Also, you can say, a lot of good films that were original movies were good to.

Point is that you cannot judge a , pun time lol , book by its cover xD.

Sorry just had to put my film knowledge in here xD

It's true that there's been some great films based on books, but nowadays Hollywood is scared to try original scripts. They think basing a movie off an existing property guarantees an audience, which isn't always the case.

Well all i was saying to xyro was that movies , whether based on books or not, vary in terms of success and such. xD

beyond that...could be worst...

random thought..

did you know that james cameron directed his first film and it was called piranha 2 LOL
