The brackets for round one are now up. I understand most of us will be busy with Christmas and New Years, so I decided to give you all till Jan. 3rd to get your matches done. That's roughly two weeks and should be more than enough time to get your matches done.

So, I am officially calling shenanigans on this bracket. Why should a potential 3 seed (myself) be playing a one seed (PMGW) in the first round!?!?! That's like DEHF playing Mike Haze in the prelims for Pound 4.
When you seed by skill, such instances never happen. Random seeding is truly unfair to all who are involved in it. It isn't what a tourney should be, a test of skill, but rather a test of luck.
So, I hereby forfeit my matches. I won't do another OTL with random seeding again...I just want this to be known now.

*Facepalms* you're missing the point!
In a seeded tourney, the heavy hitters are put up against scrubs or n00blets in the first rounds, so that if the bracket plays out according to plan, you have more desirable matchups in the later rounds. This is how every tourney works itself out offline. I don't see why we can't do this here.

MY TOURNEY! MY RULES! Besides.IT'S MY FIRST TIME HOSTING ONE!!!! Like you said, OFFLINE TOURNIES are seeded. I don't see any reason why ONLINE TOURNIES should be seeded. It's a freakin ONLINE tournament for crying out loud! Most people wouldn't care one way or the other, but NOT EVERYONE wants a seeded tournament. It would be unfair to noob and scrubs to go up against pros especially in the First Round. From the way I see it, I decided to put noobs against noobs and pros against pros to be fair and give noobs and scrubs an easier time. It's like an RPG. Do you work your way up fighting progressively stronger monsters, or do go to an area with a high level cap when you're underleveled for that area. It's a bit like smash. If you fight increasingly tougher challengers. You'll get better over time. If you fight a pro when you can't even beat some of the worst smashers would result in the pro(insert number here) stocking you without breaking a sweat. If all your gonna do is ***** and moan about how I set up the brackets, You may as well be DQ'd Kazoo ,for I'm NOT going to put with johns in this tourney!
