^^^ On the G&W matchup thread, you should add that Pikachu (and any character) can DI G&W's dthrow so you land behind him. This is useful for avoiding the dthrow->jab combo/psuedo crap chaingrab.

Also, the timing for teching the dthrow is pressing shield as the last circle disappears.

Well, its not exactly 3 matches. Its basically when that mod is tired of playing you (or ****** you).

No me and mink dont live near each other. I've checked that a long time ago. I live in Burlington county.. I know only one other smasher there..

Btw Edison is 1 hourish from me...

Hey guys. Today I was doing some doubles with some lowly skilled guys (They never DI'd Pika's down smash) at college today and I went pikachu one round. My partner died and I was alone with one stock against the other team with 4 stocks who were playing as Ike and G&W. I wasn't really playing seriously but I thought I'd have some fun and start camping.

And then I start dominating both of them at the same time they were like wtf we're getting owned 1vs2. I killed them both then and then start comboing them together. They just keep missing me and i was only 28% when i have brought them both to 1 stock. but they started to get their act better so I took some more damage. I get to 80% while they are at 110%.

But then my thumb slips on my cstick and I fsmash in the wrong direction and eat Ike's fsmash :( I was gonna win tooo...

Lol, that reminds me of my friends during lunch. They all know that its possible do DI out of pika's dsmash, but they don't know how....lolz.

the most irksome thing in brawl is falco's jab. my roommate is always holding is down and getting like 10% each time and everytime i DI out he rolls around me and tries to start it again. holy crap its annoying. i still beat him though. :)

I've TOLD my friends how to do it, and they just.... don't. Then they complain when I use dsmash a lot, but it's just too good against people who don't wanna bother DI'ing out (especially in teams). Not my fault.

I have a friend who plays Falco who does this all the time. You're right, it's not auto win or anything, but it really is very annoying. I hate being jabbed in general, but Falco's is especially GRR.

For some reason, not a lot of people know how to get out of:

SH fair > utilt > nair > FFnair > utilt > nair >repeat

Been doing it since forever...

stealth has this awesome combo where he pivot grabs with the dthrow. hard to get around. though its not really a combo. its a chain.
