Fuzzyness
The Reality!
I've been looking into going again recently giving some more hope into the situation.
From the UK! If you don't know who I am watch this!

After Genesis II I realized how amazing the experience was and meeting all the names I've been hearing + watching since 2005.
I'd love another chance and to play the world's finest again but times are hard, I actually just started work but my wage is awful and just enough to pay for food + a little enjoying locally.
Asking for help with the costs for the flight specifically cause thats the main issue..
If you want to help me out then thats great, send a few bucks/euros/pounds currency or some wacky one to my paypal email:

Not sure exactly how much things are going to cost yet but whatever is donated I'll use towards the costs. If I end up not being able to go I'll refund everyone, who knows work might not let me go even =(
Hope to see everyone at APEX 2012...hope! *crosses fingers*

After Genesis II I realized how amazing the experience was and meeting all the names I've been hearing + watching since 2005.
Been playing actively since 2005 hosting tournaments and going to every tournament in the UK, once to BC Canada and nearly been to all the major European tournaments. Recently was Beast II where I nearly beat Armada in a BO5 set using falcon.Beforehand I was in NorCAL for a whole month practising with names like shroomed, sfat, scar, hmw and others. We all learnt from eachother and also participated in 2 tournaments whilst I was there doing well in both. My mind was already set for doing well in the tournament with a goal of at least getting into brackets "GENESIS GENESIS GENESIS!!!"
At Genesis II I worked my way through pools fighting the tough NTSC spacies with falcon, and broke out my fox in training to proceed through the second pool. So then I get to my last pool fighting 3 big names I was glad to face (Mew2King, Silent Wolf and Lucky). After playing everyone else my mood suddenly changed and it went from serious into pure enjoyment, my games against silent wolf we're so close and he clutched it last game last stock against me in a fox ditto.
I found out after these guys I had already qualified into the Genesis II Bracket after my long journey, so next I had to play against Jason with fox. Personally I didn't do very well but at the time I was pretty neive not to realise because I was in such a good mood, I was doing the right punishes but Jason's gimp game and edgeguard game was solid so my stocks were going out of the window without me realising.
Playing a trick card I brang out my 2005-07 Jigglypuff which was still a bit rusty, netherless it was close and he clutched that match learning that people have weaknesses in their game and can underestimate others.
Next I played against Lucky and I was still in the best mood ever, deciding to have a laugh beforehand and some banter. I swore to him I'd use falcon and have a fun game so we played on Yoshi Story twice and Dreamland for the final game which went WAY better than I expected haha. It even looks like I was having fun from the videos =)
So I got into bracket and who did I have first..? MANGO
I was just having a laugh at the time but once I sat down to play I gave it all I had which went fine at first until he 4 stocked me second game (LOL damn mango).. he was serious.
After game 2 small things in his style seemed to compare to Professor Pro, being the way they approach, move and punish. Judging by this I followed the same decision I'd use in the UK as a counterpick and went Marth on Battlefield knowing in my mind this would be a better decision.
I attempted this and it went way better as planned, but small mistakes cost me that game such as dying at low % and missing one of my edgeguards =(
A bit dissapointed that I lost but it didn't phase me at all, next was DoH which wasn't recorded. The infamous peach player (who I think is pretty campy, but then again most peaches camp especially Armada..no offense but that's what a lot of people say)
The first game went pretty badly, I kept making really bad decisions getting punished accordingly on Dreamland, a fair win on his side.
Counterpick was Pokemon Stadium with Fox which was the light in the clouds at Genesis II for when I had problems, and with the confidence I had it got me through to the last game.
Last game he picks FD and at this moment in my mind I'm just pumping myself in my mind "this guy isn't better than me, we have armada in Europe and this guy is nothing in comparison, my falcon can do this!" and I go ahead and pick falcon.
We play it out and I get the lead with a boost of confidence which is unstoppable, continuing to keep this lead and seeing DoH's confidence drop throughout the match, ending up in a 3 stock.
My lesson from this? Confidence is so important and believing you can do it.
Next was really harsh for me, I'm known to get bracket ***** every tourney (it happened at Beast 2 as well with Armada and Ice). So I had HAX next!
Falcon dittos are horrid in tournament and all falcon players agree. After playing against Scar and SilentSpectre I had some confidence but I really wasn't looking forward to another set of spacing b air, n air, boring grab tech chases and hitting boring knee/stomp combos. That was my downfall, the moment I wasn't looking forward to it I just got completely outplayed and my confidence just sank. It went even at first until I felt like giving up from the second game especially after my SD on the first game.
So I got knocked out of Genesis II and rooted for my fellow European and American friends I made + respected which was still a blast and seeing Armada win was great for all the hard work he put in.
I'd love another chance and to play the world's finest again but times are hard, I actually just started work but my wage is awful and just enough to pay for food + a little enjoying locally.
