Possibly clearing target test fast enough, like level 1 in under 30 seconds. That or fight 50 matches. 50 just so we could get him quickly.Hey guys, what would be the best way to unlock Shulk? I don't see him as a starter character, but that would be nice.
I don't remember, were there unlocks for using certain moves/actions in the previous games? It could be neat if you needed to dodge or counter X amount of times as a nod to his future-sight. There are tons of characters with counters so you'd have some variety.Hey guys, what would be the best way to unlock Shulk? I don't see him as a starter character, but that would be nice.
Same here.I don't remember, were there unlocks for using certain moves/actions in the previous games? It could be neat if you needed to dodge or counter X amount of times as a nod to his future-sight. There are tons of characters with counters so you'd have some variety.
Course, I would take it straight to training with 2 controllers or a friend, and spam counters
No they don't, Robin's Japanese name is Reflet. This has nothing to do with Shulk, either. Many of us relied to the leak but Shulk has more going for him that just the leak, but I guest that Chorm's voice actor tweeting that he was doing no voice work for smash should have be a giveaway that the leak was wrong but whatever, also I'm a little worried Isaac getting in because Robin and Isaac share the same name in japan.
Was about to post something like that, but, yeah. Robin, Isaac, Shulk can co-exist. It's just up to Sakurai if he wants all of them in.No they don't, Robin's Japanese name is Reflet. This has nothing to do with Shulk, either.
I think its highly likely both Isaac and Shulk are playable. Both can bring something quite new and different to the table. I'm not worried.
Well thats good to hear.No they don't, Robin's Japanese name is Reflet. This has nothing to do with Shulk, either.

That would be pretty cool if you unlocked him by playing every (Starting) stageShulk is unlocked after you spend hours exploring every corner of every stage.
But with Sonic and Snake you have to unlock them and they was on the boxIf he's unlockable that would probably mean no trailer. So please, stop putting these impure thoughts in my head.
Oh it doesn't mean that! I don't think every character revealed in a trailer will be unlocked at the start! We might still have to unlock Sonic, Pac-Man and Mega Man. I'm guessing we'll have to.If he's unlockable that would probably mean no trailer. So please, stop putting these impure thoughts in my head.
But this game is critically acclaimed, so it would be good for Nintendo to recognize it. It could be a, let's say, a Ness situation. He has also been in 1 game, but that game was popular (especially in Japan, same for Xenoblade's case) so he was included in the original Smash.Shulk's only really been in one game though so even though he'd be a good character he doesn't really deserve a spot. However if he represents the "Xeno" series as a whole in Smash Bros. I'll accept him. That would pave the way for more "Xeno" characters in the future.
Hey, fellow Xenoblade fans! I literally just joined, but I've been reading this thead for awhile now. I just felt the mighty need to support Shulk, so I just had to sign up. This is only my second post too. I've got a few other characters to support, but Shulk is absolutely first on my list.
So add me to the supporters! Shulk for Smash!
It would be pretty funny if a trailer revealing Shulk had him mistaking ROB for a mechon.
I still think it will have Meta Knight is Shulks trailer. Meta knight looks kind of like a chubby, little Faced Mechon.
It's true that it's critically acclaimed, I myself love the game. Though I think if he's gonna get in he needs to represent all the Xeno ralted games and not just his own.But this game is critically acclaimed, so it would be good for Nintendo to recognize it. And yes, a reason for Shulk's inclusion is because Xenoblade is now a new Nintendo franchise with the announced sequel slated for 2015.
Dino-Ridley-BeastI still think it will have Meta Knight is Shulks trailer. Meta knight looks kind of like a chubby, little Faced Mechon.
He actually doesn't need to, though. Just Xenoblade itself. Because that is just what Nintendo owns. Xenogears and Xenosaga is irrelevant because they are 3rd party titles. (even though they are by Monolithsoft)It's true that it's critically acclaimed, I myself love the game. Though I think if he's gonna get in he needs to represent all the Xeno ralted games and not just his own.
I disagree with Shulk doesn't deseve a spot because he only had one game but Pit had only one game and got in brawl, Ness had one game and got in Smash 64, so why not Shulk.Shulk's only really been in one game though so even though he'd be a good character he doesn't really deserve a spot. Actually Pit had two, however the second one is considered non-canonical due to never being released in Japan. (Kid Icarus: of Myths and Monsters for the Game Boy.)I disagree with Shulk doesn't deseve a spot because he only had one game but Pit had only one game and got in brawl, Ness had one game and got in Smash 64, so why not Shulk.
Ness is different because he was in the first game and there are enough games for him to represent. and Pit was in Brawl as a retro character and at the time he actually had 2 games.I disagree with Shulk doesn't deseve a spot because he only had one game but Pit had only one game and got in brawl, Ness had one game and got in Smash 64, so why not Shulk.
Ness wasn't in the first game in his series. Ice Climbers only had one game, and Lucina and Robin have both only ever been in one game. The same game, at that. So of coure the "one game" thing ain't gonna stop Monado Boy!Ness is different because he was in the first game and there are enough games for him to represent. and Pit was in Brawl as a retro character and at the time he actually had 2 games.
My body is absolutely ready. So long as it's that train with Shulk on the front!
SERIOUSLY. If you get on the train, there's no going back!!
Might I remind you, Roy got in with no game.Ness is different because he was in the first game and there are enough games for him to represent. and Pit was in Brawl as a retro character and at the time he actually had 2 games.
I'd like to point out ROB doesn't even HAVE an actual game. Just sayin'.Might I remind you, Roy got in with no game.
Ness was not in the first game that was Ninten not nessNess is different because he was in the first game and there are enough games for him to represent. and Pit was in Brawl as a retro character and at the time he actually had 2 games.
With that logic......................Might I remind you, Roy got in with no game.
Well, technically R.O.B. was playable in Mario Kart DS, though how much that actually counts I have no idea.I'd like to point out ROB doesn't even HAVE an actual game. Just sayin'.
Also, does anyone have a link to that image with all the Shulk evidence? I can't find that anywhere
I wasn't really counting that, but you're right.Well, technically R.O.B. was playable in Mario Kart DS, though how much that actually counts I have no idea.
HINT: It doesn't.Well, technically R.O.B. was playable in Mario Kart DS, though how much that actually counts I have no idea.
I so did this when I first played Xenoblade... I wandered pointlessly around Colony 9 for hours, even swam through all the water, just marvelling at the gigantic world and trying to fill out the map... little did I know that there was a much quicker way of doing that...Shulk is unlocked after you spend hours exploring every corner of every stage.
How did you react upon seeing the Bionis Leg?I so did this when I first played Xenoblade... I wandered pointlessly around Colony 9 for hours, even swam through all the water, just marvelling at the gigantic world and trying to fill out the map... little did I know that there was a much quicker way of doing that...
Still, one of my best Xeno memories...
