I would be happy about it, but I don't think it will happen just yet.

If X is a big success (which I think it will be) then it may inspire Nintendo to re-release Xenoblade.

By the way, I know I've covered this, but I REALLY want the theme for the Leg of Bionis in Smash 4. So great.

I think a lot of people are hoping to see the Leg of Bionis theme in Smash.

I would personally like to see You Will Know Our Names and Mechanical Rhythm.

The entire OST is great, though. I love it.

As for X, I'm still waiting for news on that. Nintendo needs to put some info out.

I wanted him in since I first played the game myself.

When I've heard of Xenoblade for the first time, Shulk was in my Top 15 most wanted characters.

After I've beat the game, he's now in my Top 3.

It basically tries to merge WRPGs with JRPGs. You get the story and prettiness that comes with JRPGs but get the freedom of a WRPG. Not perfect, but a great experience.

$40 is probably the cheapest you'll find it for. It sells for a whopping $70 pre-owned. But it was $90 before so who knows.

I think it's too early for HD version of the title. There are plethora of Gamecube titles I would love to be turned into HD before it, such as Metroid Prime and Eternal Darkness (provided Nintendo has the rights).

It's weird because I haven't even played Xenoblade Chronicles yet and Shulk is probably my second most wanted newcomer. I initially fell in love with Xenoblade just by listening to the Soundtrack, and then I started watching let's plays and researching areas/gameplay mechanics/ characters and also looking at reviews. But, I never played it. Even so, I think that when I finally get the game for an affordable price on Black Friday, it will become a part of my top 5 favorite video game franchises ever. I just have a feeling...

I also support shulk for ssb4, I don't know why people think he's going to be an assist trophy.

A lot of people say he doesn't have enough games to warrant a spot on the roster and I've also heard several others say it's because of dwindling popularity. I guess it makes some sense, but there are so many exceptions to this.

Ness and Lucas only starred in one game. Ice Climbers have one game, but people often say that because they're retro characters, they deserve the spot. I personally think it's the tag team mechanic. Some people didn't even consider ROB an actual character.

Personally, I think both sides of the arguments make sense, but the main arguments against Shulk's inclusion are flawed. Although, I may just be biased. I've also said this several times before, though, Shulk's inclusion in Smash Bros. can seriously do great things for the franchise. Look at Fire Emblem and even Kid Icarus.

I think Sakurai might value impact more than anything else.....

Obviously if you have multiple games you're going to leave your mark on Nintendo history eventually....but if you can do it in just one or two games the more power to you.

Advance Wars has had a ton of games spanning back to the NES days, yet it probably wont get a character in Smash any time soon. Not sure the number of games matters that much.

My continued thoughts will be here:
-Shulk's voice is European O-o
-The music so far is reminding alot of KH Music.
-Man it takes alot to kill a bunnie. XD
-Leveling up feels alot worth it considering you get alot of HP. XD
-This place gigantic, so much exploration O_O_O
-The Monado can't hit people, so Shulk is unable to fight.

Voice acting was done by an English cast. I really like the voice acting.

And exploration was definitely one of the best part of the games, visuals are seriously one of the most gorgeous I've seen in a video game, despite it being on a Wii.

When it comes to a playstyle, I think a rushdown style with average statistics but great normal and special attacks would be kind of appropriate. Alternatively, more of a defensive character that instead uses the range of the Monado to his advantage, but still has some options for offense. Maybe a powerful slow user like Ike, but at the same time that's too drab.

Really? I heard that that was the only complaint that most people had (graphics), I have been playing Battlefield 4 on Ps4... so I am spoiled. Haha. I have never really been a graphics/story fan. I am more interested in the mechanics and development of the game in regards to progression/practicality. I am always down for a great voice cast though, it helps retain some interest in the story.

I really hope so, it is actually going to be taking me away from Final Fantasy 13 (finally got around to that game). So I am hoping that it is as fun as... well EVERYONE says it is. Haha. I just know that I am setting myself up for disappointment though, I am going to start supporting him for Smash... and become let down.

I think I'll get Metroid Trilogy soon, but it is the price of a Wii U game on regular price. As long it's not out of stock.

Since the Monado can extend for attacks, maybe the sword should have this property.

1. The tip does damage with no stun or knockback, like a mid-range version of Fox's laser.
2. The middle might have a little stun.
3. The base is where the knockback comes in. Like with Roy, except the mechanic might better fit the Monado.

I have not played the game if you can tell.

Well that would emphasize the Monado's long length, but at the same time something like that can be easily hindering or broken.

It's a debatable subject. But some of the areas are just breathtaking. It's a bit hard to explain, I guess.

Of course the Wii's hardware can't handle much, but....I guess I'm not too sure how to explain.

If I should say something I haven't finish Xenoblade or Final Fantasy XIII but playing both I can tell you that the gameplay and game design is so much better than XIII (is a shame really being a more powerful system you will expect something more interesting and fun but then you realize that power in a system is not everything).

I can't believe they are having sales after declaring the title vintage earlier this year. Gamestop is truly a jerk company. The worst part is that didn't stop me from buying ALBW from them.

It took me awhile to get into the game's flow. I played the last story first, and absolutely loved its combat, so Xenoblade was a step down as a result. But once I got it, I enjoyed it in a different way. In terms of FF comparisons, I think Xenoblade's combat might be most similar to Lightning Returns, from what I've seen for that game. I like FF13's combat system in theory, but not in execution. Hopefully Lightning Returns can change that.

I was thrown off by the english accents when it first came out, by I really appreciated how much those voices added to Xenoblade's overall quality. It makes the characters' voices stand out among others.

The individual character models leave something to be desired, but the backgrounds are absolutely beautiful.
