Why didn't MLG make the names of Stockpile and Onslaught have something to do with Warlock and Midship? That's what they're supposed to be modeled after, anyway.

It should have been Sorcerer and ... I dunno... Topdeck? I can't think of anything good for Middy.

They're still really good maps.

BTW: Does anyone know why Narrows CTF is back in the MLG playlist? MLG said they removed it. I'm not a fan of Narrows.

Narrows CTF must've been overlooked and launched along with the gametype.

Midship? I guess Stranded would be cool. A stranded ship..? Idk>_<.

I'm willing to play the MLG Playlist, but I likely won't be for a few weeks, when everyone else has already played it and I can rank up really fast to a certain level and then probably be stuck there forever. :|

The weekly update this week is good, too. Details on the new Forge items included in the new maps, one of the most interesting being camera filters, so you can take screenshots, as well as play the game in real time with camera effects. They've added some other neat Forge objects, tower pieces so you can piece them together and make a tower of power, or just a power, whatever kind of tower you want it to be! There's also energy barriers included, think shield doors, but NOTHING can go through them. They're there to allow you to block off areas of the map. My favorite Forge items are on Ghost Town. Wood Planks. Yes!

Im down for playing MLG playlist. I dont like the no radar, but oh well.

Fell back to a freakin 47 today...been a rough couple of days of close games, I lost 4 of them 49-50 last night and today. I wish that it was SWAT instead of Grifbal, but grifbal is still pretty fun.

Might be on later, if not then I will be on tomorrow/sunday at some point. Dont know if everyone has my tag, its bjdavis69, but some of the time if Im doing work in TS, then I usually won't switch playlist/party up because I am freakin determined to get my 50.

Red vs Blue has a new series going as of today. Judging from the first video, which is on the main page of redvsblue.com right now, it looks pretty awesome. Machinima really makes me see how pretty Halo 3 is, sometimes I forget. I hope this is a full fledged series, that brings back the characters we know and love from Seasons 1-4 (Screw that season 5 sister ****). Mostly the original characters from Season 1, though I'd love to see Andy or Gary return.

I never got into RvB, but I should. What I have seen was really funny. It would be cool if they did a season in Halo 3.

Wow I just tried Griffball today in Halo 3 and it was so freaking fun! When my friend wanted me to play it with him, I'm like "sounds kinda ghey.." but then after a few games and going like +40. +29 and +21 i was destroying in it. lol we didn't get the ball, we just camped at their spawn points and killed them. alot of betrays too (some on purpose and most on accidents). i also got my first "killtroicty" medal!

The double EXP is nice too. :)
The only think I don't like about griffball on foundry is that the last griffball game we played, the other team kept on glitching by throwing the ball out of the level and they were beating us 2-0...

Oh and I don't like the MLG playlist...

I have a question: Is the "Killimanjaro!!" medal the highest kill medal you can get in ranked and social? Cause when i checked my medals for both things, there was one space left after killtrocity and it seems that they only go up to "Killimanjaro!!"

I'm assuming that the other higher ones:

"Killtastrophe"
"Killpocalypse"
"Killionaire"

are in custom games, correct? or maybe in BTB?

The only medals that are subjective to the gametype are the.. erm, gametype medals. A Killionaire (10 kills without going 4 seconds between a kill) is attainable in any gametype. You can't on the other hand get the "Last Man Standing" medal in anything except Infection.

Yeah, you can get killionaire in Grifbal (I did) it sits next to perfection on your medals list (at top, its black, not circular like kilimanjaro and other ones)

So, I got my 40 over the weekend (my friend Kinn1son and I played some Lone Wolves on my account) but I still have a noob bar because I have over 600 exp, lol! So now I have to get to 45 but I really want to play MLG.

You guys should check out the Halo 3 ViDOC that's up on bungie now, it's pretty sweet- I can't wait to try out these maps. They actually look GOOD unlike the Heroic ones.

Haha, I could've skated by with the points I already had, but ended up buying the Battlestar Galactica arcade game, along with Ikaruga today. I had 160 points before hand, so after buying 500 points last week, and then another 1000 points today, I'm back to an odd 360 points. The nice thing about that is I only have to pick up 500 points from the marketplace to buy the Legendary Map Pack.

We should try to recruit Overswarm for Team Smashboards. We'd pwn so hard, lol. I heard M2K wasn't bad either. What other smashers play Halo well?
