I've recently realized that it interests me to hear about what other people have seen that I have not.

So, I thought I would just make a thread about it. Come here to talk about anything bizarre you have seen, or think you have seen, or any weird dreams you've had.

Sorry if this has already been posted.

Anyways, here's one dream I had: I went behind a pizza place, and there was a secret factory behind it. Strangely, I have had MANY dreams about this secret factory in different situations. This is just one of them. I got into the factory, but the dreams never show me how I do it. I looked around, and I spotted this blue-colored, winged demon on top of some tall structure. Strangely, he actually flew down to me, and followed me to my grandparent's house. I noticed the demon wasn't with me anymore, but I thought nothing of it, for some reason. I went upstairs into the room where the computer is, and I found my grandma at the computer, looking up stuff.

We had a conversation, but I don't remember what about. Afterwards, I went back outside, and the demon was in the yard. He smiled, and flew through the window of the computer room. Somehow, I was able to fly up to the window to see what he was doing. Finally, he whispered, "When I say this word three times--" and I actually FORGOT what the rest of his sentence was. Then, he said some word that I couldn't understand, and right after the second time he said it, I woke up.

So, yeah. I'm really interested to know what your replies will be!

Nobody cares that you chuckled. Nor do they think you're creative for posting '10dreams' instead of '10chars', which by the way, is already annoying by itself.

Recently, I had ad ream that the theater I work at (actual theater, not movie theater) was hoarding dinosaurs in the back 40 acres. It was my responsibility to rescue the dinosaurs-- yet they kept firing fireworks at me. So I had my girl friend go back, and use her femininity to distract them, while she sabotaged their weapons, so I could go in for the rescue.

I had a dream that I was talking to my friend on AIM last night...
Anyone get dreams when you're underwater? I sometimes get them and it feels strange because I'm breathing...it's usually around then when I realize I'm dreaming and I wake up.
Also...I sometimes get dreams where I lose my teeth, which is really freaky because it feels very real.

^^Wow, you're not too friendly today, chum!

OK, this isn't my dream, but it's still pretty good.
My friend has this recurring dream where he is sitting cross-legged and floating about 3 above a yellow field. Everything else is yellow too. So he's sitting there, and theres this perfectly formed, like soft-serve shaped piece of excrement just sitting on his head. And he's really, really worried about it. :p

My other friend had this crazy out-of-body experience. He was really sick with the flu and his temperature was way up at nighttimes. So in his dream, he can see himself walking around, from a viewpoint that is just off the upper left point of his foot, on the floor, looking up at himself. He goes downstairs from his room to see his parents doing chore like things, like he remembers his dad was vacuuming curtains. So he goes to his mom and says "They're coming for me next."
And she says, "well who is, who's coming for you?"
"They're coming for me next." And after that he said, "The fifth and sixth are done and they're coming for me next."
WOAH.
So they escort my friend back to his room to put him back to bed, and he notices this lamp attached to the ceiling...and its really scaring him! He asks his dad to move it and his dad just says "Well, ...no." and he insists again "Well, can you just please move it?" and again is refused, as its attached to the ceiling.
So, as it turns out, this was a real experience, and not just a dream!
This same friend also had a recurring dream when he was younger: He sees this upside down styrofome cup with a ball of yarn on top of it...and it scares him completely.

A dream i've had is when i was gradeschool, me and a girl classmate of mine were running through Johnny Quest land, yknow that kind of green line maze? We were being chased by...Mr. Freeze from the batman animated series. So we keep running around this maze, and eventually we get cornered, and i wake up suddenly because i bumped my head really hard on my bed post!

anyway, thats my story...

I was down at Tesco carpark and for some reason I had to fight Sean, but I had the power to stop time. Somehow I never managed to stop time fast enough and Sean hit me on the head with a bottle, but I made his nose bleed. We went into Tesco and got told to leave cause we were bleeding, so I ran across the bridge with Jon and Robert, and we were getting chased Sean and Kevin. The river was insanely high, about a metre away from the top of the bridge (which should've meant that Tesco would've been completely submerged), and Jon said "Hey, look how high the river is!".

I had that dream like two weeks ago, and I can only remember two dreams, that's one of them.

Sorry won't happen again... :urg:

On topic, does anyone ever get those dreams where your like half asleep and your like running and you trip. Then you just wake up completely and are sweating or just feel scared. I seem to get those a lot.

I also had a weird dream where there was like some huge mutant spider in my room. It was like really big and had a strange reptilian face. It looked at me and latched onto my face. I was like trying to call for help and then I woke up. Now that I think about it it kind of sounds like AVP where the aliens would latch onto peoples faces.

I can't believe you mentioned AVP, instead of any other Alien film, seeing as though the Facehuggers are in every single Alien film.

Btw just to ask, has anyone ever died in their dreams?
I haven't seen any of the other Alien films so I wasn't sure about them in other films.

On the topic of dying in dreams, it sees whenever I'm near death or like falling off a building in dreams, I wake up right before impact. Is it true that you die irl if you die in your dreams? I've heard from some unreliable people that you do.

last night I had a dream there was these doom hamsters, and if you threw them all into a body of water the world would end. I am not joking, and I don't do drugs. Another was my dad was a grape vine and he would die unless I fed him wiskas cat food. again, I don't do drugs.

if you believe in astral projection like me, you will understand this next one.
Many believe you astral project every night when you sleep, well when I was little right before I woke up I was like floating over my parents bed and saw the three of us sleeping (I was sleeping in their bed with them that day because I had a bad dream or something) and then all of a sudden I fell into my body and woke up. It was intense

I had a dream that I was in a field and it was storming bad. Then this castle appeared on the horizon. I went in and climbed up to the highest tower, and in the tower was this girl in a dark robe looking out the window. She turns the me and says, "Do you remember me?". I answer no and then she lets down her hood. I still can't see her face, but I silently say her name. Then I wake up. I drastically try to remember the name, but nothing.

I believe that the girl in my dream is a girl that I really liked in middle school. Unfortunately she moved away before I told her how I really felt. *tear*

The most horrible dream I've ever had.

Sister: Hey Derek! Want my autograph?
Invisible Audience: *HaHaHaHa*
Me: No......
Sister: *Stares evilly*

The next part is when you put a mirror in the middle of your face and it looks like both sides are the same right? Well, there was a skull(Edit: it wasnt a skull. It was a Donnie Darko looking thing.) repeatedly opening its mouth except the mirror was horizontal. Lasted about 20 seconds.

Then....

Me: TT put that knife down!
*Silence*
I turn around. TT is chopped up in slices. body parts are falling to the ground. She was 4 at the time.

The worst part.

There was a collage of T.V. shows that went together made my face staring at me. I looked drugged and crazy. This was a transition between each of the above. And the sounds through out the whole dream was the sound of your head in water. The background vibrating ooooohhhh.

This dream would repeat itself about 20 times before I woke up. I was 7 and I woke up paralyzed. Mentally I guess. The rest of the day I was sick. Maybe dreams are a side effect?

P.S. Your dreams make me laugh. Psychological horror is real terror.

I do, too.

(Off the tripping subject) My friend has this dream every year, on a certain day of the year (can't remember which day it is): He's in bed, awake, and then his sister walks into the room, smiling. She walks closer to him, and then gets even closer, turning into a red skeleton. She finally gets to his bed and holds him up by his neck. He wakes up right then.

The tripping thing happens to me all the time. One time I was dreaming that I was talking with my friends when all of the sudden I trip and I wake up. The dream took place at a place in front of my house.

One time I had a dream where I was completely paralyzed and it felt like I was floating in the air but all I saw was complete darkness. I realized my eyes were closed so I opened them and see/feel someone staring at me. It was like a shadow of a person. I got scared so I closed my eyes. I have no idea whether that was a dream or real cuz it felt very real at the time... I know that there is a thing that you wake up at ngiht but your body is still "asleep" so you're paralyzed and you can hallucinate but it was just too real to be a hallucination to me....

Also, I've died in my dreams plenty of times and I'm still alive.

I also had a dream, where I was being chased by two black furred panthers in a zoo(and lived!).

I forget my dreams to easily.

Has anyone here been in the beginning stages of sleep, but suddenly wake up with a strange sensation. I have felt the same sensation before. Have you ever closed your eyes and walked up a flight of stairs? You know when you reach the the top stair, and you take another step, thinking that there is another one there. I feel that exact sensation.

I am an avid sleepwalkers so my best guess is that when I sleep, I spend most of my time walking. But when my brain fails to send out the paralyzing chemical signals, I physically move.

Do you mean actually going through with the death or being in a situation where you'd die in the next second?

I've had both. Having dreams where you would've died are fairly common, though, so I'll imagnie you're asking for the former.

I had one dream where I was in some sort of arctic place and there were some fires that I could see. There were also a couple of other people with me, we were talking and laughing. They weren't anyone I knew. I'm not entirely sure why, but I got a military-type vibe. In any case, people sponataneously died. Eventually, whatever happened to kill people happened to me (I'm not sure what it was that killed everyone). I thought to myself "I guess this is where I go...", and at the same time I was also thinking "I finally get to find out whether or not there's an afterlife". Then, my vision started to fade and...dead. I didn't wake up immediately either, I woke up later on.

That's probably the most vivid and frightening dream I've ever had.

My dreams are actually well-described by the song "Mad World". "I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad; the dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had." I don't really have good dreams...at all. Honest to god.

I've had one dream that, in and of itself, was good, but in its situation, wasn't.

The first one I had the night I (thought) I lost my Pokemon Diamond game. Keep in mind that I had hundreds of hours racked up as well as an almost complete Pokedex, so I was understandably a bit anxious to find it. I don't remember much about the dream, except for the fact that I found the Diamond game in it. Then I woke up and thought the dream had actually happened. Then I remembered that it was just a dream and I still didn't have it, which was like realizing I had lost it all over again.

I also remember once, many, many years ago, I had a dream where I was Gumbi (yes, Gumbi...not sure why) and I got attacked by bees, which probably explains why I really don't ever want to get stung by one. Just thought that was sort of amusing.

Oh yeah, you want to hear the absolute most outrageous yet hilarious dream ever? A few years ago, my friend had a dream where he was in his house, and Darth Vader was in a Tie Fighter chasing him. The Tie Fighter was mini, so it was like, smaller than his head. Then, to top it all off, one of my other friends was speaking to him (telepathically) and telling him to go to the living room, because it was the only safe place. Really bizarre dream.

Five minutes after the end of the dream, half the content is forgotten. After ten minutes, 90% is lost.
From the link above, that is an interesting bit of information. I seriously can't remember almost all my dreams, I should start writing them down.

Anyways, I have the 'tripping' thing happen to me quite a bit. I always jolt up in bed and think how weird it is when it happens.

I haven't really had hallucinations happen to me. Can only think of one (if this qualifies). I was very sick with the flu 2 years ago around Christmas time. I was lying in bed in my room with all the lights turned out, no TV or anything. I was looking up, and all the sudden my ceiling started to slowly fade away so I could see the sky/stars. I took my finger and acted as if it were a pen and wrote my name in the sky in cursive. I could see my name until I blinked, then it all disappeared. I then proceeded to vomit 5 seconds later.

I guess I have 2 things to contribute here,

when I was young I was plagued by nightmares of monsters and demons comin after me to the point that I was so terrified of the night I'd panic whenever my parents said it was time for bed. My brother had to sleep in the same room so he could wake me up when I started screaming and kicking in my sleep. But then mom stuck a big smiley nightlight in my room and that took alot of the fear away lol.

The other thing is that when my grandmother had to be on certain meds they made her hallucinate and shed run around the house yelling that demons were after her. Whenever we talk about it now everyone starts chuckling even my grandmother lol.

I have proper random dreams at momments and some messed up nightmares. The thing I hate the most is when your in a proper good dream (xD) and then all of sudden you wake up, I just swear in my mind cause i'm proper peed off (lol). But ye sometimes when I have a dream like a few weeks after that I get Deja-vu, I swear I can see the future sometimes, I get like Deja-vu almost everyday.

I have a lot of lucid and paranormal dreams/out of body experiences when I sleep. Unfortunately, I'm also cursed with TERRIBLE short term memory loss so I can barely remember anything, heh. Guess I can't really go into that much detail...

All I know is that there are ideas in my head that allow me to imagine what it's like to feel dinosaurs or things that have never existed in our century or things I've yet to come across in reality.

Really strange.

Does this happen to anyone else? I think it's because yr mind makes you of something you've come across already and applies the closest thing, in yr mind, to the object you've yet to experience. (dinosaur = lizard + bumpy texture?)

It's just strange being able to feel things in yr dreams lol.

Well... I had this one weird/scary dream...
Me and my dad were going to this state park, and all these other random people were around us... and then we found this one big fat bone in the middle of the park, like in a baseball field. My dad and I were watching while a guy went up to it. We all thought it was like a dog's toy or something... Then the guy said, "It's not a dog's... It's like a deer's... Then all of a sudden, these deer came out of the forest and started to kill everyone. We all ran back to our cars and we were scared ****less. i remember this one girl who went out of here car, and was walking slowly and silently. Then all of a sudden a deer was upon her, its antler glistening with blood. While my dad started to drive out of the park, i called my mom and sister. My sister was at the mall, and the deer were there too. My mom was at the hospital for some odd reason and the deer were there too... My sister said not to worry about her, that she has a ride out of the mall. So, my dad and i went to the hospital where my mom was. This hospital was a run down crappy apartment. When we arrived, the police officers said, "It's no use. Blow it up." Then the apartment blew up. My dad was screaming, and so was I. Then, we heard banging on the door. My mom and my dog rushed out with deer behind them. My dad grabbed my mom and I started the car. The police officers were shooting the deer and retreating back to their squad cars. So, while me, my dad, and my mom were driving to some safe haven, my sister was already there. Then i forgot the rest...

This other dream, I was in my driveway and some guy came up to me. he shot me straight in the heart and i died. I was floating and saw my dead body below me. Then i woke up.... This was a few years ago...

These are some weird dreams...

Back!
I had a dream that I was in a war zone. It was near the ocean mostly and it had strangely tall grass as some beaches do. But it was kind of cold outside and the sun was setting. We settle at this area were there was a cart that had coins in it and had a warheadshell throw it. the coins were scattered all over the ground I pick one up and heard guns fire off in the distance I couldnt read the coins language but at the bottom it said the year it was made: 1948! It turns out that my dream was about the Arab - Israeli War!

By the way dreams for me are rare for some reason. I just don't dream often...

When I was still in high school, whenever it was spring break, all of my dreams on weekdays would take place at school.

I wonder what it means...

Also, when I was very little, I used to have these reccuring nightmares where I would be standing at the base of something like a laurel hedge except that it was infinitely high and wide. In front of the hedge there was a wooden arrow sign with something written on it, I could never remember what it said. I was always with either my dad, my sister, or my cousin Tim. Whoever I was with would always suggest we go where the sign directed us. The sign pointed to a narrow gap in the hedge. On the other side of the gap was an endless beach with massive tidal waves crashing in. The tidal waves carried giant leaves big enough to cover a car, and eventually what would happen was one of these giant leaves would fall on top of my companion. Moments later, he/she would come crawling out from under the leaf but his/her eyes would have black and white spirals in them and their teeth would become fangs. He/she would then begin to chase me, I would run away. I would run up to the hedge, pass through the gap, go around the corner and look back. I would then see my former companion coming through the hedge still chasing after me. I would then turn around, see the sign again, and then I'd always wake up.

That's pretty much it.

I have a lot of epic dreams. Dreams that make me wake up thinking about how I need to write it down and turn it into a movie. Sadly, I don't remember these dreams after a little while, so still no movies.

I also have this recurring dream where me, my family, and my great-grandmother are all at the beach, and then there's a giant tidal wave coming, so we all go onto the boardwalk (which for some reason has a wooden roof on it) and watch as it comes in. What's weird is that my sister has this exact same recurring dream. Even down to little details, like this red hat that my grandmother is wearing in the dream. Neither of us have ever seen the hat in real life, but can describe it and tell when we see her wearing it in the dream.

Also, has anyone else woken up but not had their body wake up with them, leaving you paralyzed? That's happened to me once, as well as an out of body experience one time when I was younger

YOU STOLE MY GIANT TIDAL WAVE ON THE BEACH!!!

Also, it's called sleep paralysis. It's basically when you regain consciousness before the rest of you wakes up resulting in a momentary loss of motor functions and sometimes hallucinations. It's pretty common, although it can affect people from anywhere to a few seconds of paralysis to several minutes of paralysis with very vivid hallucinations. This has often caused many people to believe that they have been abducted by aliens.

In other words, you were awake but the rest of your brain thought you were still dreaming.

EDIT: Yah, that's right, I just covered Hallucinations, Dreams, and Paranormal Stuff, all three topics, in one paragraph.

Heck, I'm pretty much the only person here who's touched the two topics besides dreams.

Wait, so you're aware of being awake but you're unable to do anything? That would make me FLIP OUT. I hope that never happens to me.

That happened to me a couple of nights ago. I like spazzed out two times and then I sorta couldn't move. Never really thought about it until after the fact, as I was half awake when it happened.

I find it cool... somehow.

I had several dreams this week where I was completely lucid and in control of them. I haven't tried doing this in a while. The downside is when I woke up from a nap while lucid dreaming, my body felt extremely tired and in pain. It sucked.

I love lucid dreams, although I haven't had one in a while. I remember one dream when I was younger and there were these kids there. I kept telling them it was a dream and they could do whatever they wanted and stuff.

There was this other one where I was on a bridge and I was the only one around. I told myself it was a dream and decided to see what happened if I just jumped off. Oddly enough I actually landed on the ground near my old apartment in fall river, I was very dizzy when I landed.

I've had two particularly weird dreams. One of them was an epic story but to cut a long story short I was bitten by a shark on the right side of my abdomen(sp?) has soon as it bit me I woke up in shock and an agonising pain in the place where the shark bit me in the dream and it was sore all day, it did actually feel like I was bitten.

The other one was more like a deja vu. It was when I was much younger I had a dream where I was in my school's dressing room but I was looking through some else's eyes. I could see myself getting a towel out of my bag, the person next to me was taking off his jacket, I looked down and noticed that body I was in was wearing red swimming shorts. Some one in the room made I funny remark and everybody was laughing. What's weird though, other than my dream being located in the boy's changing rooms, is that the dream was extremely vivid and that nothing unusual happened to suggest it was a dream. So a couple of weeks later I decide to go swimming after school so we go to the changing room. I am sitting there getting ready then it hits me, deja vu. The towel in the bag was the exact same towel as in the dream, the guy next to me is taking off his coat, I look up opposite me and notice my friend is wearing red shorts, and then the same guy who said the funny remark in the dream says the same funny remark and everybody is laughing as well. It was by far the most unusual deja vu I ever had.

I've had a false awakening, but that's as far as it goes for lucid dreams. I HAVE on the other hand, remembered quite a collection of...rather odd dreams. I seriously have no idea why a giant teddy bear by the name of Chucky would be chasing someone through a deserted forest. No idea.

My dreams as a little kid were mostly of monsters and the like. One I remember to this day was when I was 5 and I was in the bathroom. All of a sudden the toilet grew legs and eyes and it kind of made the noise those puddy dudes did in Power Rangers. It started chasing me through the house trying to bite me with its toilet seat mouth. After running for like five minutes I find a bar of soap sitting on the couch. I threw it in the toilet's mouth which kind of stunned it I guess. I then rushed towards it, held the flush button and watched it squirming and drowning itself. My parents (who I had been screaming bloody murder for the entire time) then walked through the front door, saw the place flooded and took all my toys away. :(

I also had a dream a year later that the 3 Stooges were trying to kill me. I "woke up" in my bedroom and looked out my window. The three of them (Curly, not Shemp) had chains around their arms and looked like Jacob Marley's ghost from "A Christmas Carol". Curly had an axe and was the one chasing me most of the time. Moe had a pick axe and kept busting through our walls. Larry freaked me out the most though, he had a hockey mask and a chainsaw. Long story short, I outsmarted them by running circles around them until their chains tied themselves up. I then proceeded to cut their heads off with Larry's chainsaw. I can't watch a 3 Stooges short now without remembering how I once decapitated them as a small child.
