5 easy things to do to get more candy
It's close to Halloween so I've decided to make a guide:laugh:
1. Have the best costume in your group
2. People tend to give more candy to people with empty bags so bring and empty one with you and hide your real bag under your costume.
3. Note the houses that give out the good stuff and revisit them (In a different costume of course)
4. If you decide to visit other neighborhoods go to the rich part of your city/town I've gotten king size candy bars from this ;)
5. Look starved and if they try to give you one peace of candy give a sigh they'll usually give you more :chuckle: There can be no shame in your candy quest

ALWAYS CHECK YOUR CANDY!

There are some sick people in this world so I've decided to include a candy checking guide aswell

1. Check for holes in the packaging if there is even the smallest nick toss it.
2. For twist-open type things if they look like they've been opened before toss it.
3. If its not packaged toss it don't eat anything that home made
4. Toss any fruits/vegetables people try to give you. I still don't understand why people give out this type of stuff for Halloween.
5. If you have parents let them do all this for you ;)
6. Watch out for candy thieves yes I'm serious.
7. Squeeze the packaging if any air escapes toss it.

I take no responsibility for any mauling,Jealous stares, being caught, Or anything else that might happen to you! I hope this guide has helped it was written fairly quickly.

DONT GET HIT

on a serious note you either want to go into a rich area or suburbs those are the two best places to go trick-or-treating because in the suburbs the houses are close and you get good candy and in the rich areas the houses might not be as close but you get better candy

I remember that, even when I went crazy over trick-or-treating in like 7th grade or whatever and got like two fat pillow sacks full, I didn't even want to eat the candy.

Candy is gross, dude. Go eat some fruit instead or get drunk on halloween.

I've been thinking about what I should give to trick-or-treaters... something awkward, heavy, and large.

Bottled water, maybe.

Water is probably a good idea. I know when I was young I would get thirsty about 60% through my run. I guess it depends on the climate.

Awkward? Heavy? Large? Might I suggest going as the Judge from Pink Floyd's 'The Wall'.

(Anyone who's seen the wall will know just how funny that would be.)

If the front lights are off, go to it anyways. They have the best candy...xD

If someone leaves the bowl out on a table, beware, it may be a Halloween prank. Next thing you know you're reaching for candy and some guy reaches out from under the table and trips you. (Happened to me lolz)

I usually squeeze the candy before opening it. If any air escapes I don't eat it.

What do you guys think of my costume? I'm going to have a Sarah Palin mask, a suit, and an airsoft rifle and shotgun.
Make sure your airsoft gun has the orange tip or else someone might interpret it as a real gun.

LAWL @ houses that have bowls just sitting on the front porch. Last year, the bowl was full of giant chocolate bars and it said "Help Yourself" I'm thinking, hmm I'm certain they wouldn't mind if I only took half XD That was on the rich street of my city. Then at another house there was this guy dressed up on his driveway and we had to go to the porch to get the candy. When we were leaving, the guy started following us down the street. When i turned around he was like 2 feet away from us. I was surprised to see him there. So surprised that i actually threw a KitKat at him and ran XD I love Halloween...

If you don't wake up then your dead.

I always go for the candy with the puncture holes. Nothing like waking up in a basement to realize this isn't the haunted walk.

What you should do is run from house to house trying to get as many houses as you can in two hours. This is what me and my friend used to do. Every year we'd try to break that record. We wouldn't know we've broken it by counting houses but we'd know this by how deep we penitrated into four near by neighborhoods. My house was midway on this route so we''d dump our sacks and reload with a new one.

Not sure where we had this idea from. Think it was from an episode of Pete and Pete when they tried to set the Guiness Book of World Records for getting the most houses.

Start at 5:55 and end around 8:10. Starting a little bit early and going a little bit later will get you quite a bit more candy. That was our gameplan.

Remember kids, be safe, and don't take candy from strangers ;)

nah, I'm joking, just go out there and have a great time, put on your best costume and do you're most horrifying act as a person opens their door

^ hey, you never know, i've seen such cases, for instance and this happened to my grandma that when she opened the door, she got so scared of seeing a Joker that she talked about it all night, though we all just laughed at it.

Tip: Don't eat ANY "loose" candy like licorice. It may be okay, but you really never know.

And one year when I went trick or treating, somebody had something rigged on their doormat that made their front door fly open when you stepped on the mat. Then you'd hear "Who disturbs my slumber?!" from Aladdin and this guy in a ghoul mask came running out.

I was the only one who didn't run off crying. I just stood there laughing and told him he had an awesome house. He gave me a huge pile of Hershey bars(my fave!) XD!!! and thanked me for not being a wuss. LOL

I haven't trick or treated since 4th grade, but this is actually pretty interesting.

Especially the empty bag technique...

I guess I didn't know all the halloween strategy back in my younger days.
