You can also hit that ***** with a bomb if he tries his uair crap on you. I think GnW is much harder to play against at first b/c you have to get used to all of his comboes. GnW hits so hard, if he didn't hit so hard I'd say this would be an even match up. But it is definitely not Link's worse match up i'd say its Neutral or 60:40 in GnW's favor at best.

yea I know thats links biggest problem he is hard to learn, there are many things you need to learn before you can use him as an viable option and even more to be able to main him.

I go pretty even with Valdens, I'll try to get some matches recorded against him at IE this weekend. When it comes down to it though, all Link can do is space him well and kill him at relatively low %s. G&W can combo you, edge guard you, and kill you at lower %s than your used to dying at, not to mention G&Ws that arent retarted can still get through your spacing just like any good player. If you play it right it's pretty even, but G&W does have an advantage.

What does that have to do with anything? <_< I was pretty much agreeing to him.

Link can do a few things to GaW that can be surprising if the GaW has never played a good Link before. But you guys are ignoring a lot of Link's weaknesses vs GaW's strengths in this match up like all that was already mentioned and something like.. GaW's options out of shield are ********, his options against your shield are obviously, yet broken, his recovery can not be edgeguarded since it has invincibility at the beginning of it + it auto snaps on the ledge, his d-smash can send you at a HORRIBLE angle to get gimped because of your **** recovery, and many other things.
