@jpak I don't see why you wouldn't want to grab things like Executioner or Juggernaut when you could, even if you could jungle with a little bit here or there...

I can't really speak much for the jungling, as ive really only heard from jatt, his udyr atm goes something like 0/17/13. he likes that mana mastery since junglers usually dont buy any mana items. i think ad/ap carries should go 21/9/0 or 21/0/9. Some APs like veigar can do fine with at 21+ in utility. supports can mix it up but should have at least 21 in utility

Pretty solid analysis. A lot of people are gonna be bogged up trying to read it all, but the general points are right. Offense looks great, and then the other trees have too many masteries that are inefficient or too far down the tree/specific path to justify getting it. AD champs also got really nice benefits.

Jpak, but you can get the mana with the 9 points if you really want them. Only thing above 9 points in utility that is worth a damn is Awareness.

It's kinda gross though. I'm really unimpressed with initiator and after all that analysis, Honor Guard and Evasion are both just sad, but I'm not even sure what else you'd take... hp/5 is also bad... uhg, defensive tree just not that good atm.

I've yet to play a jungler since yesterday but apparently new masteries are amazingfor jungling purposes.

A thread on GD right now exclaiming 3:15 lvl 4 clear with Shyvanna.

Mogwai already covered this partially but I'd like to point out that a 3:15 lvl 4 clear is about 5 seconds faster than the time I was able to clear the jungle with her using the old masteries.

Old masteries were amazing for jungle purposes as well. I don't feel the new masteries have really changed much. The big difference is that it's pretty much pointless IMO to get the experience mastery now (at least for early jungling) so you have a little bit more freedom in what you start out with.

Shyvana was by far one of the fastest junglers. Best PvE champion by far. The new masteries increase jungle speed for some of the slower champs by a good margin, and also let them finish with more health.

I mean, udyr could have tiger and phoenix at the same time if he wanted. I still think Rammus would win if you wanted to see who could like, reach level 18 by only clearing jungle camps, but you have both jungles to work with.

I want to learn how to play Riven well in Top lane. She seems like fun and seems like a good champ to jump to when the tiny nerfs on Akali get on my nerves.

Why do you rush lich bane before more AP? Lich bane is great as a second item but you dont get THAT much from it before you have more AP over sheen.

@Mogwai2: SHyvana and Udyr dont have powerball... But then Shyv does have 99% uptime on her W with Blue buff.

I only built that first because I had to go mid (for some reason) against a Veigar. Their team was all AP heavy so I built it first. +Mana is good too.
