........... Cdr?someone tell me why you would use anything other than magic resist blues.
I've looked at every other blue and they all pale in comparison
only ap/level even comes close, but mres is so much better on a caster because it's an invaluable stat that's hard to build for
I run scaling MRes on my Blues when Jungling, but some people do run CDR/Attack Speed.Do junglers run MR blues?
well... i doDo junglers run MR blues?
If you're using CDR runes you aren't using them for level 18. Same with any nonscaling, nonred/quint rune.cdr is an overrated stat in my opinion.
Jungling, where you need to use abilities; faster clear than if you have mres (does nothing if you dont counterjungle / gank into a magic lane)isn't laning phase mostly just autoattacks (with the occasional harass when your opponent makes a mistake)? why do you need cdr during laning phase?
Triforce too good on Jarman to force mallet unless you really need to tank out and can't afford a mallet (essentially only if your team needs a hard initiator out of the jungle) IMO.Mogwai said:my builds have been solidifying a bit.
Starting:
vs. AD: cloth + 5 -> wriggle's + boots -> brutalizer -> phage
vs. AP: boots + 3 -> brutalizer + philo -> phage -> wriggle's
I've been abandoning dblades in favor of wriggle's, as I like having that lifesteal when I'm trucking people all game and wriggle's just feels like a more intelligent use of item slots when I'm buying a bunch of midgame items rather than saving up for something huge. Sometimes I get philo top too and sometimes I add a hog in addition to a philo if I'm planning on just sitting on wriggle's + phage + brutalizer + hog + philo + mercs until I can complete a triforce and ghostblade. After the trifecta of early damage items (wriggle's + brutalizer + phage), I rush my Black Cleaver, Triforce, Aegis or Warmog's, depending on my team's needs. Late items are all situational, but I like GA and QSS when I go for blatantly offensive builds like Cleaver, Triforce, Ghostblade, Wriggle's, Mercs, whereas other times I'll just transition into Atmog's for lategame survivability.
that's just a ****ty version of heal comp.
Lane switching.I don't know why people are so hesitant to optimize a rune page to a given matchup when it could greatly alleviate it. This game is very centered around winning early so you can do well late (Nasus is a glaring excpetion, and a few others). Sure you don't have the optimal page or starting build, but it's not like your burst/harass is going to be bad, and you're still going to be building primarily AP... that safer start will let you farm easier and not feed an assassin. What more could you want?
Then you start building a bunch of damage while he still has little-to no resists and you start winning over time.
Oh man, I hope BonerChamp logs in sometimes soon. I haven't seen him on for a while.
My point is you're not always going to get the matchup you rune for, especially if it's for Talon, who does easily holds his own top lane against bruisers, does extremely well against casters in mid, and can do well bottom, given it's not a stupidly strong lane.DanGR. It's not like you can't do the same... especially if you're playing one of the APs. Going mid is never a bad thing for you, lol.
(He did mention he plays AP).

We should do that more. I'm getting the hang of it. o.oashe+talon duo bot
So assuming I want to run something that's not support + carry bot lane, should the noncarry build gp5 like a support and farm lives instead of creeps?ashe+talon duo bot
