Go to the G&W boards, if you can beat their best, you might be an ok Falco. Then again, wifi isn't the best test.

Falco dittos mean NOTHING as far as your skill. Sorry, but if you want to test your Falco out you need to try against other characters.

I'm not necessarily arguing that Sethlon is better than SK92, but I think we can all agree that SK92 is not so much better as to warrant a 3stock game.

SK92 three stocked Sethlon on the second game on Sethlon's counterpick.

He also did the entire set without doing the death CG.

The only kill Sethlon got in the entire set was from CG to spike in the first game. He got two stocked that round, and SK92 got all his kills without the CG --> Spike.

I beat D1's Falco @ Inui's tourney this weekend 2 stocking him the 3rd match without cg spikes. Not saying I'm better or that he's better, but I know the Falco vs Falco matchup better than D1 does imo.

I don't think there's a very big skill gap between SK92 and Sethlon.

Congratulation to Keitaro, although D1 is still a great falco. Not many people bother to learn the falco vs falco match-up because it's sort of pointless, but I guess I'm wrong since I haven't really learnt it myself.

Well if we're talking about matchup discrepancies, visit the G&W boards. Some believe Falco ***** G&W. Obviously I still stick with Falco being at a disadvantage, but I don't think it's 70/30 to G&W. Discuss that again! Top Tiers are Top Priority if you're doing matchups.

yes i know...we've done IC's and Snake, the summaries of those discussions i posted in the matchup thread.
it seems like GnW and ROB are next.
i wouldn't necessarily say falco ***** GnW, but a good falco who knows the matchup can definitely do good against GnW. around 50-50 (it could go 55-45 either way) imo.

I'd still say G&W wins out slightly 55/45, but yeah there's no reason why a smart Falco should have too much trouble against G&W. I think G&W as a whole is starting to lose steam, I don't find him as formidable as I did a few months ago.

Yeah, I'm leaning toward 55:45 G&W's favor, but it could definately be 50:50. We are basing most of our descisions off Hylian vs. Sethlon vids though.

well...i think we should have a bit more on the matchup before making a summary. sethlon vs. hylian is only 1 example of the matchup. i think we need to make a list of all the things each char has going for them in the matchup, then what falco needs to do to win.
of course, seth vs. hylian vids help a lot in doing those things ^^

It's always tough to make a matchup summary without the other character's board. Even with their help, there's a ton of bias from both sides that makes it difficult to find the right numbers anyways.

yeah. and our matchup thread always dies before a decision is reached. so i tried to bring it into the FBR, but it seems like no one goes there to contribute.
