Played Umbra today, Kruton and Az wish you guys woulda been there. In the games we played I went from knowing like next to nothing about meta knight to knowing a whole world of ****. Def. a good player and I still need more practice playing meta knight but I was so glad to be able to beat him by the end of the night. Pretty close matches every time. Kid his meta combos for days haha it was a good time.

Glad you guys were able to come down, those were some good matches. :) I'll try to talk kruton and az into driving down to altoona next time lol. You guys are really good, you'll do fine at tgp.

haha good to know man, we were never too worried about how we'd do but its always a thought ya know. You def. gotta see ry play, of the group me and him are best and duane is the worst but we literally taught him from the ground up so he progresses by leaps and bounds. I still gotta work on that meta game and i def. gotta take on snake. Hopefully you learned a bit of the match up vs. game and watch.

o that sucks, they didn't leave until after 1. We stopped playing smash kinda early and went down to canyon pizza though. Oh well, I'll talk to you sometime this week and see if we can hang out with them again lol

Hey guys my friends were wondering when you were free to come smash in A town? Ry is pumped to play ya Umbra he is pretty **** confident he can shut down meta knight pretty hard.

Alright hopefully they will be able to, I still need more practice vs meta knight since i'm finally understanding a bit about him and I def. need to play a sick snake cause he is def. a g&w counter. If I get a heads up on those two I should be good with everything else.

I'm trying to get duane into it but hes just not feelin it. I'm sure ry could pick up on it if he didn't hate him so much, ry is kinda trying to learn snake as a back up. I might just be a pariah and learn mk but he will never touch my game and watch haha

Diddy is a good G&W counter.
Diddy is a good MK counter.

I personally prefer to use DK to counter both.

I don't think diddy is a good mk counter, just got to catch those bananas and not be stupid

don't have much dk experience though, so play me at tgp :)

I only say Diddy counters him and G&W cause that's what all the top level pros say /shrug.

I don't think diddy is hard to fight either.

Yeah I'll be at TGP, you'll literally have to pry melee from my cold dead fingers to get me to play brawl. Lol, <3 melee forever.

You can't tell from my Sig? Well, I use 4 characters really well. He is by far my best though.

You can use your main or whoever you want, I can guarantee you I won't be a pushover :)

In fact, I'm gonna **** the balls off Javi here haha, we got our MM set. Hope he comes.

Well you might lose but odds are stacked in my favor in our match. Kite is right, he WAS good. I'm sure he's still decent, but nothing like he was at his prime. Either way, the game has changed so much since then. He could definately still win, it just isn't likely.

kite we don't know who's coming yet lol, probably just the people I told you before minus kadiev and prodigy, since they're not going unless a miracle occurs.

who is your teammate? and, out of curiosity, are there any other people from down there coming up? lol everyone wants to do crew battles

edit: I like that game dave. :) lol my poor brother is just going to sit there and play your wii while me you and gammon are passed out. unless we can get him to drink... lol

you should get pav and javi to come too. not that we'll be practicing smash much lol
