Is this known allready?

If you fulljump or drop a bomb from about that and fall down with uair / nair the explosion will boince you of if your fast you can jump before you land and follow up with zair or dair.

it does good damage when it all connects and your not gonna get grabbed

You can see it at 1:39 in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R9tJsuIcc4Y

I haven't been able to do it from a full-hop, in the vid SaiX was thrown so I guess the height was a bit higher than a full-hop. I have been able to do it from a full-hop + dj. From a full-hop though I have been able to Uair (prob other aerials) -> bomb > dj > to other aerial.

wtf? you said you cant do it then again you said you did : fulljump -> bomb -> uair -> bounce -> jump -> aerial

thats the whole deal about it. oh i spiked someone with this recently. totally unintended but he ran in.
I used it alot lately and it works good as a fake approach when you spaced an opponent completely and he is just wanting to get near you

Um... no. That's not what I said. My string was full-hop->Uair->Bomb->jump->aerial.

Oh and just to be sure, I'm not saying your way doesn't work. I just haven't gotten it to work that way. And I suck so your way probably does work.

Xyro must not like his Down B button. bombs have a lot of great uses. Maybe hes still stuck on melee? :O

I completely disagree with you on that statement.
ANY FOOL knows bombs have a timer and do not explode on contact. in other words you gotta be dumb dumb to get hit by it.

in melee you could do AWESOME stuff out of bombs(plus the bombs would hurt on contact). in brawl they are usless.

no not true at all bombs hve tons of uses, your stuck on melee where bombs kicked *** bu now bombs are just goodand in comparison to melee they sucked. Dont compare brawl to melee as much they are two differnt games and if you want to complain about the missed features in brawl then go to the melee boards and quit brawl. No offense but im just saying bombs can be very useful but just not as much they arent used every second you smash your opponent to swd right back to them but they can be good for edgeguards recovery and much more such as mindgames and spacing. Zair is better but it gets predictable and lame after a while.

iono, i was able to break a jiggz shield for the KO by laying a bomb and DIing behind the jiggs, the jiggs caught me with a jab or something so i popped another bomb down, then raigoth canceled into a downtilt.. then downtilt + 2 bombs going off = broken shield = star ko lol.

i also use the pop that you get from bombs to hop over ness's pk fire.. and it's also a good feint to bait people into spot dodging for some reason then you can raigoth into the dtilt..

bombs can also gimp recoveries but it's an unreliable setup compared to retethering and uncharge shot. iono, just don't count them out as useless. I try to use them a lot and even I know they're not that great, but you should try to find a time and place for everything..

again, the foe has to be dumb to get hit by them. There are always better options than bombs

Xyro you don't have to hit with bombs for them to be useful. If you were any good at melee you would know that winning is all about taking control of a match and you can still use bombs for that in brawl as well. I use a lot of bombs in my game useful. Every move has a use, just figure out how to use it.

I use bombs D: Depends on the match and situation though. Usually the bomb is either to break the momentum or encourage an aerial approach. Sometimes I can use them for edge guarding. In general though I try to mix them into my game so as to be a little unpredictable.

I fought a good MK a few months ago and the bombs just didn't work though. He just ran past and *****. Same with one of my buddies and his Sheik, he either runs past, throws needles, or goes for an aerial depending on where I use it. Against most of my hard match-ups the bombs don't work as well for me.

I'll speak about it more in January, there is a big (for ATL) tourney then, and it'll be my first major one (don't count locals and anime weekend Atlanta).
