I've officially concluded that Roy has a better wavedash than Marth in the hands of a scrub.

what?
i'm not entirely sure who the second line is directed at

roy's moonwalk is actually superior to marth's. I'm not joking.

but that's irrelevant cuz scrubs can't moonwalk. ;_;

Perhaps I need to take out vague, Asian-like sentence-structure and put down concrete industrial Amerikan:

I've officially concluded that Roy has a better wavedash than a Marth that is in the hands of a scrub.
Better?

yes, i'm fine, thank you.

and i don't see what you mean about roy's wavedash.
you mean it's easier? it goes further? it's more useful?
all of these things are wrong for a scrub.

it's very obvious to a scrub that roy's wavedash is less useful, is shorter, and isn't as easy to perform.

So you're telling me I'm a delusional scrub.

Guess that explains why I can't understand the simple concept of swinging a sword either.

Also can't find the alternative Melee FD track in the Melee ISO. And it's not in Sound Test either...

wtf

no, i'm trying to understand what you're saying.
please tell me how you find roy's wd to be better than marth's specifically.

also both of FD's themes i think are
hyaku1.hps
hyaku2.hps

yes, i am correct about fd's themes.

On the rare occasion that I play as Marth, I don't really find myself wavedashing too often. It's a good wavedash, don't get me wrong, but it seems like I space better with dash dancing or just walking.
Then again, I've never once played as Roy.

that's the ooollldd ken mentality

why wavedash when i can just dash dance?

marth's wd is good because it increases his movement speed (you really don't walk a terrible amount when playing marth past scrub level) and allows you to do things like WD out of shield or immediately following a grab to a tipper.

I LOVE wavedashing with Marth. It allows for so much control out-of-shield.
Its easily one of the best wavedashes in the game.

Also walking with Marth is good at high levels of play, Yayuhz once said to me "I hate when you just walk near me, it means I'm about to get tippered :( "

LOL

That makes a good degree of sense. You gotta realize that I put very, very little time into Marth. Kevin(Smooth Criminal) told me I should main him because I apparently take naturally to him. I might use him as an alt, but I don't think I should focus on anyone other than Samus right now. For some reason, I can't wavedash very well with Sheik. Is the timing for a wavedash different for different characters?

sheik's wd is a little quicker than most characters, but it's not difficult.

walking with marth - i mean as a form of movement. as in getting from a to b.
walking is great for mindgames.

I understand.
I'm still up in the air about whether I want to main Samus or Sheik. I'm much better with Samus as of right now, but Sheik is much more aggressive and caters to the way I play other games now versus the way I played other games then.
I guess I could try and take the "GA's Worst Sheik" title that Smooth Criminal left behind...

sheik can be played defensively or aggressively.
lol @ top tier.
samus is samus
once again i'm just gonna say play who you want to.
if you feel sheik is more natural than w/e

personally i find samus more fun because samus has a lot of technical and fun tricks you can mess around with.
