the problem with this being in the social room is that people looking for GA smash tournament threads will no longer find it. they wouldn't expect to have to look in the social section.
if anything, you could just tell us to post only about the tournament in here and we could make a separate thread in the social room.

This should be a legit waba games tournament thread. Its not suppose to be a social thread. Just give out warnings for people who are off topic(Like the do in other threads) and make a Waba Games Social thread or something in the social room.
