I hate that my mind is automatically seeing the Geno and Chocobo Mii Costumes return alongside Erdricks release... I just cannot get that out of my head.

Oh man.Sure.
I am leaving because I want to move on and focus on studying for my future career. I have an idea in mind that I feel is worth pursuing more than anything else I am currently doing in life. I get the strong feeling that Smash speculation will distract me from pursuing my dream, so that is why I decided to leave.
... Unless they delay Animal Crossing, as keeps circulating as a possibility - that'd ensure every single tweet they put out for the next year is dominated by Animal Crossing rage, which has only just recently begun to die down, so that should be fun.I think tomorrow is going to be a good day. Ignoring rumors and what not, Nintendo doing Mario, Splatoon, and Pokemon news early is definitely a good sign and even if they spin their wheels on one game like they always do, I don't think people will mind as much this year given the potential spread of what that game could be this year. I think it's going to be decently satisfying for most Nintendo fans if things line up as they're currently being implied to.
Idk I still have a feeling that Geno makes a return debut as some kind of playable character. He is a spirit, but that could all be by design. It's sad that the state of the Geno is so bad that we're looking at obviously fake leaks as we scramble for a shred of hope.
You definitely know there aren't any solid leaks when all of the gaming journalist websites are spamming fake news and clickbait. "The next Smash bros DLC character may have already been leaked!!! (see our list of possibles)"The lack of rumors going about has certainly been helpful on my side, as I can go around the site spoiler free for now(Trust me though, first sign of a leak from a major source and I am ducking back into my bunker). One thing I am a bit confused by though, some people are thinking that Polar is lying about the whole Nintendo C&D thing and I don't see how that could be the case, considering the amount of back up conformation they have gotten regarding the situation and I never really saw them as that sort of person.
Edit:
Then again, it is the internet. You can never truly get a full gauge of a person on a forum.
It was irresponsible of someone to post this in the Banjo thread and irresponsible for me to post it here but whatever lol It’s 99% likely not a real leak but nice to see someone thinks our boy still sounds legit.
Hey man, you were always cool in my book. Please drop in every now and again to say hello. In Booster's words, may happiness follow you, wherever you go. We'll be here. Before I leave Smashboards, I just want to say thank you to all of the Geno supporters who were around to discuss the character's chances in-depth during Smash 4 DLC and Ultimate base game speculation.
@EricTheGamerman , kiteinthesky , PsychoIncarnate , and Fatmanonice gave me hope back then that Geno had a strong chance. It was a great time hanging out with you guys over the years.
Although my hope for Geno in Smash is bare now and my want for Geno has waned completely, I do hope Square Enix starts a new SMRPG sequel when their relationship with Nintendo grows stronger as ports of Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest games keep going.
I'll watch it, mostly out of curiosity over the FF7 remake, but that's about it. They won't do anything with Geno and Mallow, so I generally don't care rofl. So, who is ready for the Square conference?
I am curious of their Avengers project. Plus, perhaps there might be a new game that will catch my attention. You never know.I'll watch it, mostly out of curiosity over the FF7 remake, but that's about it. They won't do anything with Geno and Mallow, so I generally don't care rofl.
I don't know what they'd show, which is always exciting. Hopes are that FF7 is not episodic and Avengers is not multiplayer only. Beyond that, anything's a bonus. So, who is ready for the Square conference?
Don't know about the Avengers thing, but FF7 is definitely remaining episodic, especially with an actual announce release date being out there now with no sign of anything past Midgar.I don't know what they'd show, which is always exciting. Hopes are that FF7 is not episodic and Avengers is not multiplayer only. Beyond that, anything's a bonus.
It is not episodic like a TellTale game, but a full sized game like FFXIIII don't know what they'd show, which is always exciting. Hopes are that FF7 is not episodic and Avengers is not multiplayer only. Beyond that, anything's a bonus.
My gay ass agrees with this statement. It is not episodic like a TellTale game, but a full sized game like FFXIII
It will still be in parts. How many, though, we don't know yet.
I'm so excited for this. X3
I've waited 4 years for this moment.
Can't wait for Tifa to rock the world next!
And I hope she doesn't get nerfed. Hahahaha
Yes, that is EXACTLY what I meant! My gay *** agrees with this statement.
... Wait, you probably don't mean that kind of nerfed, huh...?
I mean, how does the nerf compare to Advent Children at least?Welp, they nerfed her
BUT THE GAME LOOKS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING
MY 2020 GOTY ALREADY
TWOO PAAAAAAAAAAAAAARTS
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Since I'm not a fan of most of SE's titles, it just made me feel way more depressed than when I went in... because it was actually really good. The love they're giving their franchises is incredible right now. Along with that, there's Collection of Mana that's still on the horizon, which mainly leaves out CT (for obvious reasons) and... well, SMRPG.So, thoughts on the conference?
You know, I do think this love will reach SMRPG some day. The pieces are all there, I just think some time is needed for all parties to feel comfortable working together on such a project again.Since I'm not a fan of most of SE's titles, it just made me feel way more depressed than when I went in... because it was actually really good. I can't help but be super envious and ridiculously sad. I hope Banjo comes tomorrow to brighten my spirits, because they're in the dumps right now.
Eh, I have no emotional connection to FF7. I was kinda just messing around because Tifa's nice on the eyes lol. Her design for this game is very nice, nerf or not.You know, I do think this love will reach SMRPG some day. I assume you are happy with Tifa though, right?
don't worry about it. Take in account the fact that most of that time had Square and Nintendo on very stressful terms, even when they began working on smaller things. This new great Nintendo and Square relationship is very recent and things need time. Let's see how thing play out.Eh, I have no emotional connection to FF7. I hope you're right about SMRPG, I really do... but after twenty years of pleas and hopes being unanswered, I just can't help but feel downtrodden.
My favorite so far. Eons better than last year's.So, thoughts on the conference?
Loved it!! Definitely the best conference so far. I thought Ubisoft and Microsoft were very meh, but this one was amazing! So, thoughts on the conference?

Good to hear. Not the biggest Square fan in the world, so it's nice to hear what others think. I really liked it even despite that. Loved what they showed for FFVII, both in gameplay and how things are being designed in general(Tifa opinion: She looks great! Some people are apparently mad, but compared to what some people were dreading in her absence, the the one design change is barely an issue in my eyes). Glad to see people so excited over FF8, though I have little clue about it.Loved it!! Definitely the best conference so far. I thought Ubisoft and Microsoft were very meh, but this one was amazing!
