So my phone picked up an article that said "We thought Nintendo accidentally confirmed 2B for Smash" and it was literally one of those auto bot confirmation posts that said "@ 2BforSmash confirmed!", like what Malo Mart showed us with the "@ cacomallow" one they did days ago. That's how you know it's an incredibly boring and slow news year, despite the indie showcase thing.

Actually, I dug around in my history and found it, and man am I annoyed that people, OF COURSE, notice the 2B one but not the CacoMallow one.

To be fair, my tweet was pretty much just an, um... "imitation" of 2BForSmash, plus that one was made by a Twitter account with an already large following meanwhile I'm just some nobody posting on Smashboards.

Still, I'm a bit disappointed it didn't spread like wildfire in the same way that the 2B one did. I woulda lost my mind if my Cacomallow ****posts ended up being covered by gaming news sites, lmao.

You know... Video games are going to be a weird godsend during this time... I think everyone is going to be celebrated for Season 2 just because of what a **** show everything is right now. Geno potentially coming this year now has an even heavier emotional weight to it than I think any of us thought possible so it's all hard to digest.

An interesting thing to think about: If everyone who regularly uses this thread is specifically annoyed by one person who at this point is deliberately making off-topic posts on a regular basis then if everyone used the Ignore function as it was intended this person would just be off-topic posting into the void and the rest of us could carry on with our regular on-topic discussions.

Agreed. We aren't obligated to talk to such people, anyway. We can still show our support for Geno, and keep it that way by not paying attention to such people. That would be better.

The world isn't allowed to ebd till we get Geno.
Afterwards we need at least 8 years if PGR with Geno before that so, at least 1 "Art of Geno" from Izaw, an amiibo, and two Terminalmontage videos.

Then I guess we're cool.

Oh we also need real life official Geno hats.

Man, lots of things have happened in this thread after awhile. First of all, the deal with Project Legacy XP being closed down. Regrettable but hopefully that means good things for the future. Thanks to the devs for bringing so many characters and updates to a game that needed it and made it more fun than it already was.

And now, I don't follow leaks/discussions as I used to BUT that bit that someone said that we would get an Indie direct and shortly a general one seems like it is closer to the truth after all. Who would know~?

Not a complete sure thing but it definitely increased the chances for one sooner or later. At least 50/50, and that's saying something. Hopefully good things happen soon.

Also, hang on guys. This whole virus situation is rough but I'm sure we can all overcome it. Stay put and follow to appropriate means of health and care to be safe. (My job started to implement rules about it, it is worrisome but it is necessary)

Keep on going and wishing as our Star Warrior would want us to be.

It's now mid-March (2 months later), no general direct yet, no Smash character, E3 has been canceled, and the Volume 2 card pass becomes available this month.

Is it possible... that this next direct will include a DOUBLE REVEAL? One character to start off the pass, and another character because we've been waiting so patiently.

Honestly, I think Geno might be the second character. I don't think he'd start off the pass, but he's the second in line.

I thought of this as well. I forget where I had heard this, but apparently FP6 was already completed by at least January, so it wouldn't be too suprising for them to reveal both FP6 and FP7 during this Direct. Not holding my breath, though.

I wish, but I think they’re probably going to do the same route like last year. If Fighter 6 is completed and Fighter 7 completed enough to be shown, then yes unless they just wanna show 2 reveals for E3 like last year.

#76: Waluigi, Crash, Doom, a Pokemon, Shovel or Shantae; and then:

#77: Geno. All in the same March-Direct. Then probably no more reveals until the last 3 months of the year.

A big double Mario reveal with Waluigi and then Geno. Then Crash being #78 in the next Direct (second semester).

Just surprise us and make the wait worth!

Perfectly said, even if I like other characters, I’m done with Geno. The only character I love equal to Geno is Mega Man and he is already in. I couldn’t ask for more and I’m pretty sure Geno is joining the party!

Geno is a must but the game will never feel right to me without Rayman. I still do not understand why Rayman hasn't made it in.

Some guy said there'd be an Indie World followed by a General Direct about a week later. So far we've got the Indie World (17th at 10AM PST/1PM EST), now all we gotta do is wait.

I'm not sure you've really missed anything substantive seeing how we've spent most of that time trying to keep each other alive during the news drought through sheer willpower and corny jokes. Polarthief has a list of evidence for Geno you could look through to see if there's anything new in their sig. The indie direct tomorrow is potentially good news as it may mean a general direct is incoming and with the physical release of FP2 coming up it's hard to imagine they'd wait much longer for revealing the first character of the pass seeing as how they've apparently been ready since Byleth reveal. Oh and you know typical Geno thread responding to instigators instead of ignoring/reporting them and being genuinely terrible at staying on topic. But we're still a good group of goofballs don't get me wrong.
