Not necessarily. We don't fully know all that was talked about and chances are that Nintendo went out really early to the rights for all these Mii Costumes and release them in a set order with Doomguy being on the tail ends of things. Or maybe that leak was just a mod.

Sabi is taking it easy rn so I can't ask that source, though I'm not sure I'd get a straight answer these days anyway.

What are we waiting on Sabi for THIS time?

Going back to my music tangent, the page has hit the best year for music in my opinion, 1971. Led Zeppelin 4, Fragile, the Yes Album, Who’s Next, Aqualung, Hunky Dory, Islands, Master of Reality, Meddle, LA Woman, Santana III, Sticky Fingers, Tarkus all of them are incredible and I give them a strong recommendation. Sorry I went off on that but I couldnt let the opportunity pass
Edit: Okay to tie it back somewhat Geno related, I remember reading that Uesmatsu was influenced by a lot of these bands, with ELP and Tarkus being a specific mention (I think)

Basically:

1) Sabi retweeted Jon making joke tweets about the Smash community. They amounted to stuff like the one he retweeted in particular: "(game awards end) What, no Dash? (picture of Pokemon Dash's box art)" Sabi retweeted it and said that this tweet had a hidden meaning and he was afraid to say it.
2) Turns out, yep, all jokes, no hidden meaning at all. Needless to say, this got Jon unnecessary publicity that he was not happy with, not to mention the implications of Sabi doing so for what he knows and what he's trying to do.
3) Jon went nuclear mode and called Sabi AND Verge out on Twitter about not knowing anything, particularly calling Sabi's behavior into question and Verge's mass-disconfirmation list. Other people, including someone from SourceGaming, agreed, and... here we are.

It's been a large ****storm, and frankly, I agree with Jon. Sabi jumped the gun, and I don't think we can even truly realize HOW bad that probably was for Jon. He probably got all kinds of backlash and confused people reaching out to him after all this, mainly. He was... pretty irked lol.

I'd add nursery cryme and tarkus to the list but yeah it's a real winner. 69/71/73 were the real superstars though 69-74+wish you where here is where I'd draw the boundaries for the era.
