Geno (♥♪!?): Return of the Starsend Savior

Showing displeasure for a character is important but please do not go out attacking them as if it is a literal attack on Geno's chances. We are such a better community than this. SNK is not another SE representative. This 4th character is not going to kill Geno's chances and we need to not be toxic/pessimistic about it. That just gives others the ability to keep clowning us.

We are such a better community than to go out attacking something like Terry Bogard as a nobody.

I get it, time is running out but I think whatever the case will be, Geno's status as a new character will help us gauge what the next step we should go in will be. I want to make sure that Geno is the character people want to celebrate with, not the character that everyone looks down upon and doesn't take seriously. Our attitude plays a big part in this. Sure there are character communities who see us as a target to their character's chances, but let's not play their game and let's continue to be supportive, respectful and play nice with everyone!

Honestly, those are the three I feel deserve justice done. Geno, Rayman, and Shantae, I mean. They all come from exceptionally good series and the fact that a png or two was the best they could do for both Wayforward and Ubisoft is completely unforgivable, mainly because they're just pngs. No music, no assist, heck, Yacht Club Games got more than them (not complaining there) but still! I honestly wish all three were going to be DLC.

Ehh, I don't think that would be Terry. Sure, the obscurity would fit, but energy balls aren't really "flying weapons". I think there is a difference.

I had forgotten about that little bit. I had always focused on the flying weapon part, but not the posts before. If it's Nakoruru, be ready. If it's not...BE READY?

I honestly haven't been focusing on other potential fighters as much as i have been following geno and his speculation but ive played rayman origins and shantae 1/2 genie hero and i think it would be cool to see these guys get in and to see what sakurai could think up for their move sets. I also know it would satisfy a lot of people which is always good.

Whoa, really?! You designed an enemy for Shantae!? That's so cool! You have a ton of respect from me! Hopefully I'll be able to sway you over when I get my Kickstarter set up (whenever that happens), lol.

The only character I was excited for in the Pass so far was Banjo & Kazooie. I would consider any of those three a victory in my book, mainly cause they're the three I've wanted the most for Smash besides Shovel Knight and Bandana Dee.

Looking back on it, none of my top five made it in Ultimate (yet). At least SK got in as an assist.

Man this whole thing with SNK is weird. I heard from my friend that Nakoruru is SNK mascot, which surprise me to hear since that's the first time I heard of that character.

Terry Bogard I admit that his look doesn't really stick out, especially with the roster of Smash Bros. But he's important, SNK loves him, and they can play on his rivalry with Ken.

Mai on the other hand (for me) would be awesome. Though she does have some... assets that could be problematic, but then again we got Bayonetta. If she's in, well, let's just say that the Slime Mii Hat will be the only one to have jiggle physics.

Honestly I'm hoping for Mai. We need more female characters in Smash Bros and she can fill the role of Chun-li. I think Terry Bogard role is filled with Ryu & Ken so it might feel redundant for his inclusion. But we'll see how it goes.

Though I feel bad for Heihachi. He should get in and would be cool, getting a third party character that's a villain; that would be the series first. But if it's not any of those three I mentioned then how about Geese Howard? I know, I know, predictabo.

That's super cool! I've only ever designed her head because I'm terrible at bodies but the idea is there! I'm hoping to make a game inspired by Kirby, mainly because there just doesn't seem to be too many and I feel like I owe that series something in return because that was basically my childhood.

Of course, it's nowhere near as simple in terms of plot as a Kirby game but I can't really say too much about that.

Bonus: The main character has a Geno color palette option because he needs more love, let's be honest.

What is that leak? Where I can see it?

Anyway, I still do believe that Geno will be in as fighter 5 or Bonus.

Honestly I am so scared all we're going to get is just a Spirit which within itself is a direct downgrade from last game. Geno at least had a Mii Costume and now he has ...A png. Just a PNG nothing more. It would be one of the most tone deaf decisions Smash Ultimate has made and honestly? I think that's the most likely scenario.

Sakurai knows we want him, Sakurai has proven that he could and would put fan requests in, Sakurai himself wants him in, Nintendo has shown that they know we want him, Someone from Nintendo has said they know we want Geno and yet Square is one stingy and greedy corporation. They want everything their way.

I'm so scared all we're gonna get is a direct downgrade but that's honestly what it seems like we're getting. That's super tone deaf. I hope I'm wrong but I feel like I'm not. We'll see.

Geno is more alive than ever and I won’t stop believing in him being playable until they put his costume back again or until they officially end the roster.

Just remember, the dream of getting Geno into Smash Bros doesn't end with him not appearing in the fighters pass or even in Ultimate. It ends when we decide to throw in the towel.

I expect for all of us to keep going moving forward and really let Nintendo and Square-Enix know how much we want him. So long as you guys are around to help let them know how much we love these characters, Geno is still alive. I promise you, keep showing your support and as Ovaltine has said numerous times, don't stop being loud about how much we want Geno (and Mallow) to return!

We have a great base with Operation StarFall to help spread the word with over 6,400 of you guys showing how much you want to see them come back. We just need to keep moving forward with our support.

I've been at it for almost 15 years, I don't see myself ever giving up on Geno. Whether he is for Ultimate or for Smash 6. But we need to move forward respectfully and make our community as welcoming as possible so everyone will end up supporting us. Almost everyone and their mom wants to reap our rewards. We can do this! It just takes all of us to continue spreading out devotion and passion for Geno to be playable in Super Smash Bros!

(I know it's a late night ramble and I am tired, but dangit what we need is something to rally the troops again!)

I honestly think Nintendo copyrighting Megalovania music was a mistake by them as it included Super Smash Bros in the title. I don't see an Undertale rep being a thing in the fighters pass nor any other Indie character.
