This is not true. I have had multiple friends talk to Sabi about it. She confirmed it meant something a few days ago. She even called it, "The Smash leak bird", if any of yall are in the SG server, check out some cool dms in pins. She thinks it's more likely Smash than Pokemon, but she thinks it's either

I wouldn't say it specifically implies anything, but for the people that believe in EVO, it's just another brick in the wall.

Also, Nintendo are showing off a bunch of gameplay of various games at Gamescom, which I'd say is a lot smaller than EVO.

FP2 would Nintendo characters. Bandanna Dee, Edelgard, Sylux, Porky, Paper Mario
FP3 would be AT upgrades Isaac, Ashley, Black Knight (echo), Shadow (Echo), ending with Waluigi,

Final slot for pass 1 would be Doom Slayer. I ****ing adore DOOM 2016, and Eternal is my most hyped game of the year. Honestly, if I got Geno and Slayer, I'm satisfied for good.

I'm going to assume that for passes 2 and 3 spirits and assists are fair game.

Pass 2:
Isaac (Golden Sun) (Assist gets changed to Felix)
Shadow (Sonic the Hedgehog) (Assist gets changed to Memphis Tennessee or Infinite)
Bandana Dee (Kirby)
Skull Kid (Legend of Zelda)
Dixie Kong (Donkey Kong)

I got a few of the big league requests out of the way so that pass 3 is exclusively my own desires:

Pass 3:
Mach Rider (Mach Rider)
Fawful (Mario)
Quote (Cave Story)
Shantae (Shantae)
Heavy/Scout (TF2) or [less likely]
Gordon Freeman (Half-Life)

I also have the colossal pipe dream of Dallas from Payday 2, but he's not even remotely in the same league as any of these guys, so I stick with my more popular wants. I could also fill up another pass or two, easily.

As much as I'd love something at EVO, I'm not gonna bet on it. The most we'll probably get is an announcement of a Smash direct or some other thing. I'll expect the worst... but I'll definitely hope for the best. I won't be disappointed if nothing happens (especially since I'm going in expecting that) so I have no qualms hoping here!

Besides, I just kinda wanna watch those finals anyway to see who gets the gold...
