Sakurai CAN see your tweet, but I don't know if he WILL. He must receive a lot of tweets for being the video games rock star that he is, so your tweet might be completely lost in the sands of time by now.

It's not as massive as you think. He's kind of obscure and has to deal with a bunch of copyright laws.

The magnitude of Geno's support is debatable, but unless Square is flatly saying no, I can't imagine any form of legislation being such an insurmountable obstacle that Geno's chances are slim.

Yes, his chances are indeed slim, but I feel that'd be more due to Nintendo not caring enough to approach Square, or Square not caring enough to oblige them.

Something tells me that if they can arrange for Sonic to appear, the same is at least possible for Geno. But maybe I'm being naive..

Geno has a higher chance of getting in than some of the people I want (I mean, other than me, who ACTUALLY supports grovyle?), and thats because of previous popularity. a lot of people probably lost faith in Geno when he wasn't in brawl, but from what I had heard he had a VERY large following before the release. I'd like geno in just because he'd be interesting to see, and fun to play as.

well my point was that people can have fun playing as/with/against a character they never heard of before.

and you are right, obscurity does have importance. in setting the character roster. not so much in gameplay.

Hey everyone. new to these forums and this is my first post on smashboards, but ive been stalking threads for over a week now and just thought id pop in here first and say i'm down for geno in smash. SMRPG was one of my all time favorite games growing up and geno by far was my fav character in it. But anyway heres to geno in SSB4! and if not a character in the finished product then hopefully dlc. And if not DLC then hopefully referenced in the game in some way. OPTIMISM AND OBSCURITY FTW

The 'Geno you're a star' one is actually very clever, however the less said about 'Geno-cide' the better.

I didn't know Terminal Montage was on Smashboards. I recently became obsessed with his Mario & Luigi Ultimate Attack! video. It starts out simple enough, baiting you into thinking you know how it's going to play out from the first few seconds. Then it just blows all of your expectations away.

Then Geno appears at the very end.
