They win the overall round. This is so much bull**** I can't even begin to say what's wrong with all this. I swear at least give it a ****ing stalemate or something instead of ****ting me like that

That happens to me all the time. Enemies do a sideways roll at me and I headshot them with the Gnasher mid roll cause mid roll, their head is pointing at my shotgun.

YET, they have a sawed off and just spam the right trigger, and not only defy physics by pulling the trigger without a brain telling their fingers to pull the trigger, but the shot lands and we both die, even though I clearly shot first.

Might have to do with connection. Shotgun ties seem rare to me, maybe they'll lessen even more once the servers are up and there will be less need for balancing connections on host.

No they were up on the 18th and they took them down on the 19th. Unless they put them up again within this past 8 hours they're still down.

Just to say this game is far better with servers. Right now it's just GoW 2.5

So far I have a 1.6 K/D ratio in Ranked TDM on GoW3... Which is the exact same ratio that I've had in Execution on GoW2 for years.

Coincidence or consistency? You decide.

I think they're not up because I trade all of the time.
Plus, I don't clearly remember one, but I might've seen a migration today.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe even when the servers are up, a player is still a host, it's just that we are connected through epic's server instead of microsoft's?


Idk.. that's just what a friend told me ;_;

I know they aren't up because I've lagged when I run sometimes, about 20 times already have I gotten downed and instead of downing in the corner like I was I get downed right in the middle of the firefight instead, I had a tie that clearly was a win for me, and I still feel like my Plancer bullets don't hit every once in a while.

The online, however, is still eons better than Gears 2, even without the dedicated servers turned on. I don't need to roll to go faster, I can somewhat wallbounce (I don't actually have practice in it but I have been able to maneuver myself out of situations by bouncing on walls like the church in Old Town) as opposed to not being able to do it at all in Gears 2, my bullets still hit A LOT MORE than my Gnasher did in Gears 2 and when someone gets downed, I can finally shoot them to down them instead of all my bullets going right through them and have my prey escape just because I'm not in a good position to throw myself out at everyone, etc.

The list go on really

Yeah what Wretched said, you don't get hosts. It's hard to explain but everything just feels much better when it's on the servers.

I'm annoyed that they took them down. What were they thinking?

Can someone ****ing tell me why people who run up to you with the Plancer and stab you have the ability to ignore bullets from shotguns? I've died about 10 times in a match that way and that is so ****ing stupid

A good counter is any of the rifles, even the normal lancer, or shoot them with the Gnasher and roll to the side out of the way.

It happened a lot to me when I first started, but it's not really worth complaining about since the retrocharge is so easy to kill. You can just jump to the side and shotgun, or switch to any rifles and shoot them down.

Anyone know how to use the special weapon executions? What I'm talking about is like the lancer, retro lancer, and hammerburst(idk if I spelled that right) executions. I already unlocked the executions for those 3 weapons, I just don't know what button input I have to do to use it.

I rage quit 5 games because every single one of my ****ing deaths was from being gang banged by 5 guys with retros
**** this game.

@Wretched Were you playing alone or with a team? If you were playing alone, just get some friends together and play it then. If it was with a team, well kick somebody out so I can join, and I'll kill all of them little *****es. :)

This is a really stupid question, but I'm assuming whatever characters you don't unlock in the beta, you will still somehow be able to unlock in the full game? I'd hope that's true, at least. I'm probably not gonna be able to play all those matches before it ends. Work/school....sigh.

Edit: just picked up the sniper and got 4 headshots in a row, not a single miss in about 20 seconds. Beast mode.

Found 3 random guys to play CTL with, we went into a party and proceeded to win 99% of our matches tonight.

It looks so weird to see the Queen ripping Cole's arm off and beating him to death with it.
