Rolls are actually pretty good in Melee, but they are much easier to punish than Brawl's rolls.

Get @ my roll turnaround uptilt shenanigans though.

You don't need to change your grip if you fingers can easily hit the b-button.

Like, even though you should learn to WD, it's not as important as everyone makes it out to be. It's L-canceling that's required for high level play.

so keith...can you wavedash forward in both directions? As long as it's toward ur opponent?

that's what omni was getting at. It's funny that u claim to go forward either way...but can't go backwards. If you can't go left or right, that makes sense.

What? It's good to know how to wave dash to add in to your mind games, but the game doesn't heavily rely on that technique. Holy ****. Characters like Marth, Ice Climbers, and Luigi benefit from their wavedash, so it's part of their character. Believe me or not. Besides, PP, I see you do it once in a while when the moment calls for it, as it should be.

pp doesn't usually wavedash just as movement. He has a sh laser for that. But he usually wavedashes out of shine to combo, especially on fastfallers.

many characters use wavelanding however. I know ganon does...

lolwat? WD is used by a lot more characters than that. its a heavy part of spacing and baiting.
