Of course, with the release date delay, Nintendo might reconsider by replacing Gardevoir with Grumpig or Mr. Mime in the Poke Ball position. If that ever happened, Gardevoir might still have a shot as a fighter. Sadly, that might not happen.
Ya know...Perhaps if we made it known that we want Gardevoir as a PC somehow, they might consider it in a realistic way.

Maybe there is still hope.

Don't get your hopes up guys. Don't. Because if you do, and she isn't in as PC (which is very unlikely at this point), there's another disappointment. However, if you expect her to be Pokéball and she's still playable, hooray! Be jolly! And if she's Pokéball but you expected it, there's no disappointment.

Man I'm smart sometimes.

Well that kind of argument can be used for other things, things I'm sure you wouldn't agree with.

I don't have to give up hope to stay realistic. :p

How clever of you Dutchman.

However, I will still hope for her to be a PC solely.
Why would I do that though?
Because I won't be disappointed if he announces her as a Pokeball. That would call for seeing her design and possibly seeing what he was thinking when he added her as a pokeball.

It doesn't make much sense, but I don't really care.

It was always such a painful moment having to destroy the big boss guy's Gardevoir from Pokemon
Coliseum. Even though her design was, as Brawlman said, not so good.

I just hope they improve on Gardevoir's model from the 3-D games....That one wasn't so good...
Doesn't look like it. I'm resigned to that pic actually being Gardevoir, but I'll be rolled over in a barrel if it looks like her.

I dunno, you tell me.
Me and Faw had a better idea, but it will take some time. And don't worry f this thread seems to die. Me and Faw will revive it when we're done.

I mean, we have to send Gardevoir off with a proper farewell!

I'm very sure it won't die, considering all the people who thinks it's so righteous to come in here and bash for Gardevoir's de-confirmation.

Obviously they saw Gardevoir as a tough adversary. Even they had to realise that Gardevoir's chances were high. :p

Yes, that always made sense to me but, on the defender's side, some excuse will always pop up.

"i dont care i was just posting"
or something stupid like that.
I can't think of anything at the moment.

LightLink also has a point.
Now all the "pro-Lucarians" are like "Now Lucario is the only Pokemon with a chance." meaning they though she had a chance in the first place.

 Prolly.

Okay...New subject. What would be a fitting stage for Gardevoir IF she was playable? (Not like her own personal stage....Buut...Uhh....Just post. XP )

I think the Bridge of Eldin would make most sense.
Or at least to me.
I see it fitting for her.
Or Battlefield. Both work for me.

BTW, could someone please go to the Dojo website?
I think something is wrong with it but idk if it's just me.

Maybe like a little pink dreamland like the one in the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon clip in the original post. (the one with charmander)

Isn't that the part when you take pictures of Mew?
I loved that part!

That would make a very suiting stage for her.
Very good job Brawlman.

IMMA GENIUS!! And I have another good idea for the stage! Instead of the Snap constilations, it'd be the ones from Channel! (Gardevoir was a constilation!)

That seemes like the perfect stage for Garde.

Ohhhh. That part!

I see where you're talking about now. That would totally work!

You could have a platform that would go through all the constilations!

Bravo Brawlman!

I went through the first pages of the thread and I found this, posted in June.
It's a sweet post there. My fun side says yes, but my logic side says no. Why? Because Gardevoir's not as popular as some other pokemon. Good move set though. Any character can seem awsome enough to be in brawl with the right move set.
Brawlman, you were doubtful at first. What made you be more pro-Gardevoir over the past few months?

You are such a martyr. Hah.

It's interesting how anyone seems to be capable of justifying whatever crap they were doing.
Guess what, I've gotten over Gardevoir and the reason I reported your post is that it insulted my sense of beauty. If you're going to break the rules with porn, at least try to find something decent-looking.

Anyway.
A stage... hehe. I've actually gotten a quick idea for a Gardevoir stage... not just a stage for Gardevoir, but one based on her. It's basically the green background from the dream sequences in Mystery Dungeon and nothing else. It has just a single plane you can walk on and borders, but the borders can't just be walked past because of an invisible field of energy. The only way to defeat anyone here is to smash them so hard that the trajectory is too much for the barrier to take and they breach through.
Sure to screw anyone who only survives due to a good recovery.
And Gardevoir is the cause of the barrier, of course.

But, no, that is.. silly.

This thread, her awsomeness in Diamond and Pearl, becoming my favorite Pokemon, and a awsome fanfic I read about Gardevoirs.

You know what would be awesome?

If monday's update was

Pokeball: Pikachu

Gardevoir would have a chance again... So would deoxys and munchlax, and lucario fans would complain

Boy would that blow my mind.
It would make me psycho.
Not to say I really care about him but that would be just. Wow.

That would be awesome!

Does this happen in the other deconfirmed threads? It's like Gardevoir fans are just too big of fans to care about a silly pokeball confirmation. :p

I'm not too sure if you mean Gardevoir and I'm not sure if you know this, but she's kinda been de-confirmed.

Don't get me wrong, I would still love for her to be in Brawl but unless Sakurai was thinking of changing her to a PC or whoever said Gardevoir was in a Pokeball was mistaken, she's out.

What I mean is, despite deconfirmation, this thread is still going strong, people are still talking about Gardevoir, and ideas are constantly coming up on how she could still be in despite her being a pokeball in that demo.

That just shows that Gardevoir fans are the bravest around. Instead of letting our thread die, we contenue to come up with ideas for a What If situation.

If you've noticed....The Gardevoir supporters are some of the most mature around. XP

To Lightlink: That post wasn't aimed for you. I knew it might confuse you but it was aimed for ethanrogers223.

Well, Brawlman, all I can say is it takes a mature person to really appreciate a pokemon like Gardevoir. I don't really see this thread dying anytime soon, unless:

1) It is planned to die soon.
2) Everyone who posts on this thread magically disappears.
3) It is closed.
-OR-
4) The thread magically disappears.

I think Number One is most likely.

I don't want to give up hope though!

I want to do something to try to give myself hope again! Like send a petition! Or something...
