Yeah... good luck with that. Gardevoir would've been... "interesting" but hey, look on the bright side, this almost confirms Mewtwo(it should be a bright side).

We've got only a few more possible pokemon. Mewtwo and Jigglypuff seem most likely right?

I guess I'm kinda for Lucario.
I'd much rather have him than Meowth.

Anyways, let's predict Gardevoir's next appearance shall we?

I love Gardevoir and all, but I actually think that if she wasn't in this game, she won't be in any subsequent games. I mean...really, she did have a good shot, and shots don't usually get batter with time like this. Unless she like, stars in a film or does something to create a new surge of popularity that happens to coincide with the production of a new Smash game, she's just not going to make it...

:(:(:(

Gardevoir and Deoxis=Mewtwo's only chance of not coming back, both deconfirmed, hence, Mewtwo 80% confirmed.

I think Gardevoir has a very good chance.
Assuming that there will be another poll, enough people can vote for her to give her at least a good chance.

To Shuma: That does make sense but, knowing Sakurai, anything can happen.

Indeed, but Mewtwo is mewtwo, besides Pikachu i think he's the most well known Pokemon. And he's awesome, and he's the only pokemon villain(pokemon as in the species, 'cause there's Giovanni).

You're probably right.
I'm not even going to argue with you there.

I would like to see Giovanni in the game in some way.
I'd love to see him as a boss.

Who's next? I hope Sakurai puts a big red banner saying "TOM NOOK IS DECONFIRMED GOD DAMM IT!".

You know what would be awesome?

If monday's update was

Pokeball: Pikachu

Gardevoir would have a chance again... So would deoxys and munchlax, and lucario fans would complain
You know what this is so true, or at least what this implies. Nobody in nintendo ever said that being a pokeball pokemon means that you can't be a fighter. There's only one absolute deconfirmation, and that's being an assist trophy (and the reason being that in the Lyn update, it was mentioned that assist trophies were essentially characters that just missed the cut).

Everything else simply hasn't been confirmed as having any relation to chances for brawl.

That just shows that Gardevoir fans are the bravest around. Instead of letting our thread die, we contenue to come up with ideas for a What If situation.

If you've noticed....The Gardevoir supporters are some of the most mature around. XP
Because living in dream world and imagining impossible "what ifs" is REALLY mature...

It might be just me but... i had the funny feeling assis trophies where pokeballs for no-pokemon characters.

Considering she's an item shouldn't this thread be locked?
Considering Nook is in the background shouldn't his thread be locked?

No because that isn't hard proof that he's deconfirmed and this thread should be moved out of the Brawl Character discussion at least because she's not a character.

And now people are honestly trying to convince themselves that it still has a chance, even after being confirmed to be something that is clearly not a character? Christ almighty people, give it up, move on.

It must be crazy to have a character you want get deconfirmed. It's pretty cool that all the characters that have been deconfirmed are all characters I didn't want to be in Brawl.

It might be that way, and it might not, the only people who know that are the smash development team.

Again, we have no proof that her being a pokeball does anything in regards to the possibility of her appearance.

I'm not actually a major fan, I think she'd be an interesting character but the point is more general. People are too quick to assume deconfirmation, when we have no idea what constitutes deconfirmation in the mind of the only person who counts, Sakurai, with one exception, in the Lyn update he said that the item "assist trophy" means that the character essentially "didn't make the cut".

For that reason, I find it premature to count out, not only Gardevoir, but every other pokemon confirmed for a pokeball, and in addition only character considered deconfirmed for any reason other then being an assist trophy.

That is stupid, we all know that Gardevoir will defiantly 100% not be playable, you would have to be ****ed in the head to think otherwise.

I agree, Nook whont be playable, Gardevoir whont be playable, there's 1 person in this thread arguing that Gardevoir can be playable, he's wrong, there's one person in this thread that think's nook will be playable, he's wrong, being in the background is a bigger deconfirmation than a pokeball.

Not really because Kraid is literally too big, and that is what he's known for his size, this can't be used for Ridley because he has never been known for his stage.

Like i sayd, there's one person saying Gardevoir can be playable, why do you keep bringing that up, and why do YOU keep doing it, you who can't accept the fact that Nook WHONT be playable.

Because Nook IS NOT deconfirmed, I bet if they said that the old Kirby N64 stage was going to be usable in Brawl you would go ZOMG DEDEDE DECONFIRMED LOLZZZ
