Gog that reaction to the Scary claim was grody as ****. Zen beat me to a lot of what I wanted to say overall but still, there is absolutely no one but a scummer that benefits from people doing the things he said to do. Claiming that CCing is a bad idea when it makes the game a 50/50 is stupid here and the fact that he used it in a way that gave people an out to lynching Scary later is what ultimately showed his scummy mentality. He got a little greedy here thinking it possible that he could lynch Scary later despite claiming Scary was town and he has had Scary as a townread the whole game (not even sure if that's true or not). Slot should die.

The only other thing I want to ask is people compare Xatres to FroMar and then tell me again why Xatres is a good lynch but FroMar isn't. Ruy's the only one who really touched on this and I've noted his response but overall I still don't understand the hate for Xatres when everything Xatres finally looks to be warming up while FroMar continues to be blatantly antagonistic.

Sokr push onto FroMar. Leaves backdoors all over the place, seems to ask a lot of questions, still reaches a conclusion of scum.

I think the odd thing to me is how he reaches the conclusion of scum over null-ish here. Disregarding Sokr's knowledge of marshy's meta (because he obviously doesn't know it), I've noticed that he reaches "null" in a lot of cases. Either way, I don't see him reaching conclusions in his analysis. There's a lot questioning of himself, a lot of "I could be wrong" or "is it this or this?" It's leaving him an out in case he is wrong.

When he does summarize it though, it sounds a lot better. This may be an issue of his wording, I suppose, but I think his reactions, particularly the separate read of Rake or at least the conclusion that they are not scum together, give it a better conclusion. It makes me feel better about the slot because it means he's considering the options. It may be a little surface-y but my understanding of this slot is that it's not very experienced. Not overall sure about this slot, still can't seem to be arsed to read much in-depth on it.

I really just don't like that "boils down to me being anti-town and wrongly attributing it to scumminess." This question comes up from time to time for me but honestly where's the difference here? If you're being anti-town to the point of being self-conscious about it, why are you being anti-town in the first place? What is your goal here?

scary claim+townread on sokr leaves a lot to be desired in the area of scumreads, in terms of popular ones anyway. surprising he didn't list me, considering he likes to scumread me, but overall, you yourself have felt a lot of frustration at your reads. it makes sense for him to default to xatres, his top scum read, and then fromarsh, someone who is mildly scummy to the point of self-admission but overall null.

i don't understand why you'd say "scary has always been town for me" if your goal was to say "no don't cc him" afterwards and to continue to keep the option open, even over a slot without a claim and certainly one many people have doubted. i get your hyperbole but there's no sense in that hyperbole.

Alright I wanna take an aside for this.

Why do you hate Xatres so much? What has he actively done in thread to suggest he's scum? Hell, this is open to anyone. I still have yet to understand the reasonings for Xatres' lynch. He's only now just starting to become more active and put more into the game and yet everyone is ready to remove him as if he's the only option. It blows my mind too because as far as I understand the reasoning for it, it's because he's not doing anything. That, to me, is horse****. Why Xatres over marshy? It's in both of their meta to play like this and yet we're okay with letting marshy sit in the corner making an ass of himself yet Xatres is scum who needs to purge in the eternal fire when I've seen more content out of Xatres and I've liked stuff he's actually said?

Can someone actually bring this back to me because I seriously cannot understand it.

Your entire basis of his play is on how you play as scum? That's not exactly fair at all, honestly. I can understand why you've reached that conclusion but it's not a read I'd put faith in given that it's wholly a meta read and it's only based on your meta. You've gotten enough to see where Xatres is at.

If it's what I assume it is, then hypermason is kind of dumb. Can (very) easily lead to a mislynch on a townie if the mason is shot overnight by scum :/. Even more likely to happen if the mason is someone like fromarsh or swords/kuz hydra and is shot by the vig.

Basically he's suggesting the mason use his recruitment as a one-shot cop. He's asking everyone to post a null or scum lean they'd check out as the mason, so that if the mason dies in the night because of trying to recruit scum, we've got a good chance of finding scum.
