G&W Freeze Glitch in teams

Not 100% sure how to do this. I tried replicating it afterwards and wasn't able to do it consistently. I have no idea if other character besides Diddy can combo with G&W's uair to freeze characters. My guess is it only works with Diddy.

Have you tried frame by frame mode? It seems like specific timing with the Uair.

You're thinking of when Diddy gets hit by projectiles while he does an Uthrow. This isn't exactly the same, but I guess parallels can be drawn.
Diddy is glitchy LOL.
