Heres a list of things to do in brawl when your bored or just for the fun of it. Feel free to help me expand the list.

1. Beat every subspace stage on intense.
2.Beat boss battles on very hard or intense with every character.
3. Beat classic mode on intense with out continues
4. Beat adventure mode on intense without continues.
5. Beat all the events on hard
6. beat up three level 9's just for the fun of it.
7. Beat up 3 noobs 3 to one
8. beat someone without dieing.
9.Beat someone using your worse character. f
10. Beat a level 9 without getting hit or set a damage limit
11.Play more than 500 hundred hours
12. Play over 3000 matches
13. Be as annoying as possible during a match.
14. Win a match using hit and run.
15. Beat someone with a random character
16. Beat 15 minute melee no cheating
17. Beat 15 cruel melee people no cheating
18. Clear 10-Man Brawl in under 10 seconds
19. Get over 120 kills in 3 minute brawl alone
20. Get 250 kill in 15 minute brawl before dieing
21. Get over 2300 feet in homerun contest
22.Get a combined record of 70000 feet.
23. Beat classic mode in less than 8 minutes any difficulty
24. Beat Tabuu on hard or intense no damage.(subspace tabuu.)
25. Beat target test level 5 in 25 seconds
26. Beat boss battles on normal or hard without getting hit
27. Play a items only battle.
28. Beat boss battles with your worse character

I think the point was to put fun things up, not challenges. Just so happens that many items on the list could be both, depending on your style. But that's neither here nor there. This is what I do for fun >=)

Play a four player FFA with bumpers on High.
Play a four player FFA with Pokeballs on High.
Play on Spear Pillar XD (love that stage).
Me and my roommates sometimes try to beat break the targets in pairs as fast as possible.
Play a 2v2 (team attack: off) with Pokeballs on Stamina.

Sometimes we play really loud dance/techno stuff when we brawl or play melee. And sometimes we break into random "dance-offs." Yes, it's exactly what it sounds like. Yes, it's fun XD.

O.K!!!! This is like the funnest thing ever! You go to Training and be Jigglypuff in Final Destination. Then make it so you are facing three Meta Knights at 1/4 speed. Then spawn a Cracker Launcher and just blast the hell out of em!

Play a drinking game. Set up some CPU matches with all slots on Random. every time a crap-tier character wins, take a shot. Game ends when you start swearing you saw Dixie Kong and/or Geno on screen.

Go online, spam Ike's Fsmash, B and upB for half of the match. Do his up taunt, and proceed to wipe out everyone for the rest of the match...

Have al 3 on 1. Your favorite character V.S. your 3 least favorite characters. Put the 3 enemys at each 300%. All items off, 99 lives.

Have several charcters start doing their taunts. It will sound strange eventually.

Make a stage in Stage Builder that is just four blocks next to each other horizontally. No, I'm serious, do it. Now set Smash Balls as the only item, and on High frequency. Now enter a four-player free-for-all. For best results, choose from among these characters:

Fox
Falco
Wolf
Mr. Game & Watch
Jigglypuff
Lucario
Bowser
DK
Olimar
Ganondorf
Samus
Ice Climbers


Um... Yeah, I think that's all the ones I've found the most fun. Personal preference, just about everyone is good for this.

PS: You'll probably want upwards of 15 stock to do this with.

Play a friend, and infinite them up against a wall until they get 999%.
4 Sonic's, Final Smashes only.

60 minutes timed smash. (anyway you like it... just play one 60 minute match... with Brawl's lack of a learning curve, you'll be the best with your character at the end of that 60 minutes, guaranteed) lol

my favorite thing to do in brawl, hmmm....

1) pick charizard
2) get extremely drunk (might take a few hours[PLAN AHED])
3) fly

other than that....
probably just complain about lack of L-cancel for the whole time you play it.

Have a match against Ganondorf playing as Sonic, in Bridge of Eldin. Start running around and keep doing the "you're too slow" taunt. Ganondorf is so slow he won't catch you often

My brother and I always Mix up eachothers controls and they can't look. So the match is really funny. The trick is to put jump on every button except for the Dpad.

It's also fun with all items off except shells, and you can't hurt them with attacks, just shells.

have a sonic and any other char (ganon works well) go into a 2 person home run contest. right when it starts have the sonic run offscreen to the right (where the bag will fly) hurt the bag to an appropriate % (i know what percent works but i'll let you figure out yourself) and either f-smash it or warlock punch it. keep repeating until you hurt it the exact amount that it lands right next to the sonic (who was running for the whole 10 seconds. see how close you can get and save the replay ^_^
