Not going to this, but what's the situation for housing for my Canadian buddies? Haven't heard a single reply on it yet.

I don't really think my family would appreciate a bunch of crazy canadians, but I'm gonna see what I can do cause I'd love to have a bunch of crazy canadians with spices from canadialand.
The problem with housing in CT is that all the players are really young with over-protective parents, or they are really far away from the event.

The question is, will these spices be able to maintain proper cooking temperatures in the valleys of Connecticut? Some of the altitudes are pretty high and effect the boiling points of our foods.

But seriously though, I'll need to know at the very least estimated times before I can say whether or not I'll be competeing. anything much later than 11pm and I won't really feel comfortable.

I can probably house some Canadians here in my house. Just IM me or PM anyone looking for housing. The only major condition is have one seat available in your car cuz I dont got a ride to this.

Oh... well that kind of sucks. If it starts at 12 then it will probablly end pretty late too, and like i said I have a plane to catch pretty early. I probablly won't compete but I definitely want to show up and see how the CT smash scene has grown.
As of right now I don't have a secure way to get there... but I'm pretty sure i can get one on my own. (And I'll need one if I'm going to leave early enough to make it back home and sleep) SO... I don't really know why I said it in the first place.
Hopefully there will be some sort of smashfest before the tourney where i can get some good games in with everyone from CT even if the tourney is too busy for it to happen.

laughing, angry. I've thought about it for like 2... maybe even 3 minutes and I've come to the conclution that represents delirium caused by extreme hunger. The face is obviously crazy enough to eat his own eyeball with a smile. And more over he thinks he can like his eyeball out of his skull. But still I'm not one hundred percent on this so I just thought I'd throw it out there...

The spices will be fine, worry not my friends. However, I myself would like to get an answer fairly soon, as the event is going to take place sooner than we think. I mean, one day we'll be partying to celebrate the holiday of pre-xmax, then xmas followed by after-xmas and then the pre-new years, new years, after new years, etc. Then BOOM you wake up and you gotta drive 6 hours to Connecticut. That's how it works up here in Canada.
So yeah, the sooner the better for the answer. There are 6 of us going so far, possibly a 7th, but he's unconfirmed. Perhaps 3 people per household? That's not asking for much in my opinion.
