Charizard paused to mull over Unikorn's answer.
"I don't sense any deceit from him" Xiroey said. Although, he wasn't sure if he could trust his senses as of late. Somehow that substitute doll kept managing to get the drop on him.
"...Good". Charizard almost sounded relieved. "We will help you".
"But"! Gliscor raised a claw at uni in warning, "We'll also be keeping a close eye on you".
Charizard gave the bat a light punch on the shoulder "Easy Gly, we've hounded the him enough as is. He's clearly exhausted"
"B-but can we trust"--
"That's debatable" Charizard said "But, nothing we can do outside of eliminating him will guarantee that he doesn't pose a threat, and that might only make his group lash out. Our goal is to prevent war, not start it".
Xiroey figured he might as well add something in, "Gengar and I won't be following you anymore, but we will be monitoring your actions from a distance".
Gengar was suddenly at Uni's side again "We won't mess with ya unless ya start... I unno, start shooting innocent people again. Seriously, not cool man".
"So..." Xiroey concluded "We're just gonna go."
"Indeed." Charizard said "Farewell for now"
With that, he took off towards destinations unknown. Xiroey followed him, transforming back into a latios, followed by Gliscor and Gengar... who just vanished.
Uni and George were suddenly all alone.
