Polar, I played some matches with you, right? I'm pretty sure we got quite a few friendlies in.

On another note, Chaz, Bonesaw, and Serg came over today to play Smash. I don't understand where this whole "make plans and don't follow through with it" thing is coming from, really. Although, I expected MVD to also come, but he never called. *shrug*

Polar, I'm pretty sure I played you at the very beginning. I don't play Dedede, nor do I know how to help people not be at a low level. If you aren't punishing correctly or your reactions aren't fast enough, how am I supposed to help you with that? I can't do things that just playing the games does for you...I can't tell you to get better reaction time or I sound like a ****, so I opt to say nothing.

hes saying he would like to see more new ppl to relate to so he can level up together with them as the skill gaps between our worst player and him is tremendous to a point where he gets 3 stockd :\. you cant learn calculus if you do not know algebra


also everyone go to zp tonight. guest appearance seibrik,mvd, shaky,nick riddle, 8bitman and co, etc.

With new people I just encourage them. I'm friendly, ask them if I can sit down and play, 3 stock them, then tell them "It's okay, I'm pretty good at this game, don't feel bad", then I teach them a few things about their character (Luckily I know everything basic about every viable char except ICs) then tell them to keep playing and dont be frustrated when they lose. BAM. THEY ON THE HOOK NOW.

It is what it is. If I'm traveling to a region outside of Tampa I'm not gonna sit down and play randoms unless I feel like it. It's the regions job to make people feel welcome, not mine.

I was on psychological clean-up duty for everyone new who played against you at C.E.O. IIRC Someone dropped out of the tournament after playing vs. you. :laugh:

That guy doesn't count he was like 40 years old and had never played competitive smash before :embarrass:

I even tried to encourage him but he just said "**** it I'm done with this"... I aint even mad.
